I’m a visual artist, my spouse, a musician. We wanted our wedding to reflect our vibrant personalities and interests. I started out a lot of conversations with Betsy by saying, “Okay, this might sound a little nutty, but how about we do…” Betsy ran with every single suggestion. It was incredible. The end result? A modern art inspired wedding complete with an interactive art gallery at the reception! The logistics and planning: Betsy walked us through every single thing. She gave us options when we didn’t have a clue. Photographer, caterer, florist, band, you name it! She gave us things piecemeal, so it didn’t feel too overwhelming. She was also very accommodating in working with folks of a minority faith/culture, as both me and my spouse are Jewish and wanted a Jewish wedding. The big day: I didn’t have to worry about anything. I mean, of course I did worry a little bit, because I’m an anxious person. But I didn’t have to worry. Betsy set everything in motion and when a conflict came up with the transportation (my fault), she fixed it immediately. It was the most beautiful day. It was the best day of our lives.
