We had Tyler and he was super nice and great vibes, but I would not recommend for a more sentimental wedding. He played the wrong playlist (weird remixes of random pop songs) for the first 30-45 minutes and I (the bride) had to pull up my playlist for him to play the right songs (even though I specifically told him on the phone I’m pretty specific about my playlist and sent him the link to my reception playlist I curated). He also cut all of our first dances short. I was supposed to spin off to my brothers during the father/daughter dance and dance with my brothers for a little bit and spin back to my dad, I voiced this to Tyler over our phone call and he must’ve forgotten and cut me and my dad’s dance short so I wasn’t able to dance with my brothers and missed out on a really special moment I really wanted. He also cut me and my husband’s first dance short when he was supposed to continue playing the song and halfway through invite guests to join us but instead he cut our song off awkwardly and made us come back to the dance floor when we walked off and played some random song that wasn’t on my playlist for the longest married couple game that was supposed to happen halfway through the first dance song. He also turned on red and green LED lights in the venue and made it look super christmassy when that was not what I was going for so my husband had to go tell him to change the lights to what they were supposed to be. We also really wanted a candle-lit lighting atmosphere and he kept putting spotlights on us (my husband had to ask him to turn the ones off pointing at our dinner table cause it was giving him a headache lol) but then continued to put spotlights on us during all the dances. He also stayed during our last dance song when it was supposed to just be me and my husband’s one moment to soak in the night. Again, great person and super nice and awesome vibes, just wouldn’t recommend if you want a more sentimental wedding. I actually had to come back to edit my review to write that I dropped my two stars down to one, because Tyler reached out to me through email to argue his side to my experience on my review (he texted me and asked for a review, hence why I did one) and to try to convince me to remove or edit my comment in his favor (even though he admitted in the email he made judgement calls, admitting he purposefully cut our dance short, so not sure why I’d come back and lie). SO unprofessional and it made me feel SO uncomfortable. I would NEVER recommend and highly discourage from using for your wedding. I’m so distraught that this is how they conduct costumer service, I’ve never experienced something like this.

KD did a phenomenal job at our wedding this past weekend! We had a few things change in the middle of the reception and he was able to easily roll with the punches. The dance floor was never empty and the music played reflected my husband and I as a couple. KD was a delight to work with and I recommend him to EVERYONE!

Tyler made our wedding so special!! It’s not everyday that you get married. He was so helpful with filling in the blanks when we weren’t sure how to continue the reception. He really helped make our day as seamless as possible. His premade playlists were perfect for dinner and guest arrival. And he knew how to keep the party going for all our guests. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Tyler was very personable and felt more like a close friend rather than a stranger when we met him! Highly recommend Tyler and Platinum DJ for your DJ needs. If we ever need one again, we will be calling them!

Tyler with Platinum DJ was amazing. I would highly recommend him! He met with us beforehand, ensured he knew who we were as a couple, and met all of our needs. He played all the songs we wanted and ensured no country was played as requested. Most importantly he kept the dancefloor full all night. I have had multiple people tell me he was the best DJ of any wedding they have ever been too. 100% would recommend to use him without hesitation.

Tyler was the DJ for our wedding and he made our day truly perfect! We let him have some creating freedom over the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception music and he totally hit the mark and the vibes we had discussed with him. We had many people tell us the music was perfect and the party was off the charts and we have Tyler to thank for a lot of that. He was very nice throughout the evening and was checking with us through the night to make sure the song choices were what we were hoping for. Highly recommend Tyler for your DJ-ing needs!!
