I was recommended this electrician by a friend. After reading all the 5 star reviews too, I decided to contact him and videos of the electrical issues I was experiencing and needing a electrical safety certificate too. He eventually got back to a few days later with excuses of being ill and he will get in touch. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and contacted him again a few days later, again he eventually got in touch and said he's having staffing issues and will give me a quote by Wednesday.....the last contact was 27th October and he's still not contacted me back and provided a quote. Hence 1 star. This isn't a fake review either. This is someone who wanted to give the job to a local business rather a national business. So if you want to be messed around this business is perfect 👌

I contacted Plug Electrical Services and spoke to Ahmed, who asked me to send a little video pointing out the various little jobs I needed doing around the house and garden. Installing 2 external sockets, replacing a broken socket and a couple of light switches, fixing another socket and installing an extractor fan in the bathroom. He provided me with a very reasonable written quote the next day. Within 2 weeks he was round doing the work. He was really thorough but very efficient and just got on with the tasks on the list until they were all completed without any fuss or problems. I was really happy with his work and his prompt communication from the initial contact to completion of the job. Thanks Ahmed, will definitely be in touch for future work and will fully recommend you to anyone in need of a quality electrician.

Have used Plug for a few bits of work done now, from small cosmetic tweaks to larger checks and a fuseboard replacement. Been really happy with the quality of all, the price, and the friendliness of those doing the work. They’ve been happy to answer questions, explain things for us, and have had no complaints going the extra mile when needed. Will definitely use them again.

Ahmed was efficient, reliable and tidy. First brought him in to fit spotlights ahead of a new kitchen install and brought him back in on three other occasions. His prices were reasonable and itemised, he arrived on time and left the place cleaner than when he arrived even when working in what felt like a building site. Was also able to trust him with a key and he sent videos of completed work to make sure I was satisfied. Would definitely hire again.
