Spy Rock is a fantastic wine if you like the bolder red wines from 100% Texas grapes. Dark plum and leather, tastes great.

Very good winery tasting room! Family owned and operated, the tasting room serves up good wines from Central Texas. The entrance is a bit hidden off of Main Street, in the sense that the signage is almost invisible and the entry gate is non-descript. Let folks know where you are! Sarah was our server today, very knowledgeable and she provided a great presentation of the tasting menu. The wines were good. No whites available today, but the reds were fun. We picked up a candle and a couple of bottles. S good visit, worth your time!

We were in town from Fort Worth for a mini vacation. This was the first place we stopped by and it was great. We tried the flight of reds and a rose. Each one was great. And we tried the picnic basket and it was the best added snack to great tasting wine. The owners were so nice and friendly. They both took the time to speak to their guest. Enjoyed the soft music, the cool breeze outside and the lights. Great place to just relax with a glass of wine.

If you are visiting Fredricksburg, go here! Lovely Tempranillo wines. Their sangria would be a godsend on a sunny Texas day. Charcuterie board with pimento cheese, fruit, and fudgy brownies also recommended! Dog friendly and people friendly with kind service! Easy 5 star.
