My friend and I went here today! This is a very unique experience. The flowers were beautiful but we did not buy any. We both had a drink at the bar. They have both cocktails and mocktails. We opted for the mocktails. They were delicious. It’s a very fun and cute environment. There was also a sweet dog roaming around. We had a wonderful time!

Poppy’s Flower Bar was such a fun happy hour spot! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive and the cocktail options are so fun and all of the details have been tended to, down to fun straws, beautiful serving glasses and gold flakes! The staff helped with the most lovely flower arrangement too 🌺 💐 — what a fun start to the weekend!

We hosted my daughter’s Bridal Shower at Poppy’s and it was lots of fun. What a beautiful place to celebrate my beautiful girl!! I had them make her a bouquet and it was one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen!!! The bartenders were friendly and mixed tasty drinks for our group. I will say that there is some kind of feud going on with @GRO Salon next door. Half the parking lot belongs to them and they will have your car towed even on days they aren’t open if you park there. I saw someone inside the salon, so I went over to ask if the Bride could use one of their parking spaces (knowing she’d have lots of things to load) and was told by the man there, “No, not with everything I’ve had to deal with from those people over there.” Yikes! Just be aware that parking is an issue - we weren’t told by the staff at Poppy’s until we arrived that this was something we’d have to deal with. I spent the first half hour of the party policing the parking spaces that belong to @GRO Salon so that none of the people coming to celebrate had their vehicles towed. If I had known beforehand, I could have asked someone not attending the party to take this on.

Poppy's truly has become my happy place! Not only are the space, blooms and staff vibrant + cheery - but the drinks are delicious and there are constantly fun new activities popping up to enjoy! The decor is colorful and cozy, the flowers are plentiful and top quality, the staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help out, and they have a great variety of cocktails + mocktails that include plenty of classics and seasonal faves. Poppy's is the perfect place for a fancy night out with friends, catching up with a good book on a sunny afternoon, or spending some sweet quality time with your kiddos! My daughter and I loooove building bouquets together and I can easily spend hours there each visit. I honestly cannot recommend Poppy's highly enough, folks - you've just got to come check it out and see for yourself what all the hype is about. And last but certainly not least, I've gotta give a special shout out to the beautiful souls who are the real backbone of this business... Faith, Bryan, Emily and Jake are so so kind and by far the best floral arrangers/bartenders Lexington has to offer!

I’ve been here twice now for drinks, and gotten flowers once. Super nice atmosphere. Cozy, but also fun. The aesthetics are incredible. You can’t help but feel joyful here with all of the vibrant colors. I’ve had a lavender French 75 and a hibiscus Old Fashioned. I was skeptical of the hibiscus, but both drinks were lovely, and actually worked really well. My friend got their Rosé Margarita, and loved it. It had cute crushed dried strawberries on top. We are both very excited for whatever is on their next menu! When I got flowers, I got a micro bouquet and it lasted for weeks, and the flowers were larger and more vibrant than anywhere else I’ve seen in years. I asked, and they said they get as many locally as possible, and I think they were around 90% local that week. They wrapped them, sprayed them, and gave me flower food to mix into the water at home, as well as a TON of free greenery for my mix. The flowers lasted well for WEEKS following their instructions too. I’m doing one of their workshops soon and will update my review if needed!
