As a couple of nervous first-time dog parents, we recently took our pet in to get some much needed care, and were blown away by the level of care we and Buddy received. At every point, the team at PPAH showed compassion, clarity and understanding and not only provided Buddy with expert care, but gave us some much-needed peace of mind too. Our wee Burmese blue cat became very unwell through diabetes. Alice his vet got him better and full of life. We cannot recommend highly enough Alice and the team, the girls at reception were so helpful and compassionate, thank you from Yoda and his servants 😂 He apologies if he was grumpy.😄

After 8 years of taking 5 different pets here, I’ve realised it’s past time for a review. We can’t recommend PPAH highly enough. Previously we used more local vets but it wasn’t always a good experience when it came to the care of our beloved pets. Despite being a 30 minute drive away we keep coming here because they are the best we’ve found and all our friends report the same. This place has a wonderful culture that compliments their expertise, knowledge and care.

Dr Alice is an absolute superstar! Our kids might not speak English, but if they could, they’d be raving about her too. She somehow manages to be part vet, part superhuman and exactly who you want looking after your fur family. Every visit feels less like a “trip to the vet” and more like dropping by to see a friend who just happens to know everything about keeping animals healthy and happy. The whole team at Port Phillip Animal Hospital is brilliant and they all make you feel like your pets are in the safest, most caring hands, even when they’re trying to wriggle off the table! My partner and I came in unannounced as our indoor cat had blood in its fur around a cut/in its neck; it looked like it went through some layers of skin. The reception was kind and understanding and we saw a nurse quite quickly. After talking to us and examining and cleaning the wound further it was clear that it was an older scratch he had and he, or his brother, had just removed the scab prematurely. Thankyou very much for your help, and a big thanks to Bonnie who was amazing with our cat Moose.
