We have hosted events for 25 years and chose DJ Cutt of Portland Event Films for our daughter's wedding. Having been around the industry and seeing all of the different vendors, we were pretty tough customers since this was the first time hosting for one of our own. The entire wedding celebration was a 10 out of 10. We cannot say enough good things about Alex and the quality and execution of a flawless event. All weddings have something or a few things you wish you could have done differently or had thought about after the fact. We could not have imagined this wedding going any better, and the feedback from our guests has been overwhelming. Alex captured every moment, and if everything is as good as the preliminary videos, we cannot wait to see the finished product. Weddings are stressful in many ways, but not this one. Alex and his team were amazing ! Professional and fun for our entire event ! They created such a fun vibe that even our older guests were dancing and having an amazing time . We did the special effects package and our guests are still raving two weeks later .

We worked with Portland Event Film on our recent art festival. Alex was very professional, and all of his assistants were polite and on time. He did a number of interviews for our project too. Absolutely top quality!

Alex took some really amazing photos of our 3 kids. The ages are 6, 4, and 2... and they are a handful plus the middle one is extremely shy and doesn’t like to smile for pictures. Alex was able to get the kids comfortable and laughing it was such a treasure to be able to get some nice photos and even a smile out of our shy guy. The most amazing part was that he was able to get such awesome photos in a short time frame (the weather and kids didn’t want to cooperate) Do not hesitate to work with him, you will love everything! He is professional, attentive, and easy to work with. So, so thankful for the experience, it was nice to have some happy memories preserved in a strange time.

I needed someone to live stream a funeral service on short notice and found Portland Event Films and Alex to be exactly what I needed and more. Alex was a true professional. He went out to the venue even before I agreed to use his services, and he found out what kind of audio feeds were available, if internet was available, and if the lighting was good enough. After we agreed to use Alex, Alex went back to the site to test internet connectivity, streaming, and lighting. On the day of the event, everything went well. Alex bought his own lighting because the lighting at the venue was not good. The quality of the video and audio was great and we were very happy with the results. He took care of everything on his own, and we could focus on the service. With the live streaming, we were able to make the service available to people locally, across the country, and the world who wouldn't have been able to make it otherwise. I highly recommend Portland Event Films and Alex for the services offered.
