It used to be a very good gym with friendly staff and climbers. Now it’s just a very expensive gym with rude climbers who can’t even park their cars properly. They used to charge $5 for shoe hire, and now they charge $7. Many climbers don’t seem to care about others, and the staff don’t really seem to care about safety, since all climbers sign waivers beforehand. In the end, everything becomes your responsibility. If you’re thinking of bringing kids, this place isn’t very kid-friendly either unless your children are already at a certain skill level. Some male climbers get annoyed with kids if they don’t behave the way they expect. As a parent, it’s quite scary to hear grown men swearing at children.

Great gym! Climbed here many times. It’s typically quiet and the people who are there are all very nice. The routes have good variety and quality setting but the cool/inventive routes tend to be on the more difficult side of the scale (check out the O’Conner location for slightly more beginner friendly climbs). Happy sending!

Really enjoyable visit. Its not the prettiest gym, and its a bit dusty, but its got a huge amount of space, great routesetting, and lots of variety. Really laid back vibe with lots of people chatting and laughing, and as an out of towner I felt very accepted and welcomed. Would be 5 stars if not for a few too many groups of kids goofing off on the walls unattended in the back area away from the counter. Ill be returning if I’m ever back in Perth.

Visited this gym yesterday and it is an excellent facility. Fun setting, good training area, and most importantly, it has great crowd! Also the coffees here are excellent too! Training area has beastmakers, various edges, kilter board, moonboard, splatter board and campus rungs. Amazing! Changing room and toilet facilities could do with an upgrade and they should get lockers or lockable cages too.
