Potrero Hill is worth an early brisk walk or jog just to enjoy the parks scattered throughout that community. Most homes and overlooks in the Potrero Hill District reveals large sections of the city from a bird's eye view. The view from hikes around the Recreation Center shows Southeast to Southwest spectacular views, but don't stop there. Find the walk bridges crossing the 101 freeway. One leads to Zuckerberg General Hospital and the lower one goes to residential neighborhood near 18th Street down to Potrero Ave. The parks you'll discover have a variety of horticultural surprises hidden away for the venture seekers.

I’m so glad the dog play area is here. Wonderful views and friendly people. The coyotes have been out and about in the area so be mindful!

The view of downtown SF skyline from Portero Hills area is breathtaking. Because the view of downtown SF is full and big because it’s close enough. Unlike the view from twin peaks.
