John and Kevin did an excellent job upgrading our breaker box from 100 amp to 200 amp and installing a Level 2 outlet for fast-charging our electric cars. They were professional, efficient, and super helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend—thanks again!
Powell Electric never disappoints! We had the dreaded fire alarms chirping from hell situation. Replaced the batteries, cleaned out the units, put them back in and silence. Phew! But no, 20 minutes later, of course, one would not stop with the 3 chirps. The 3 piercing chirps. I went down the YouTube rabbit hole on how to fix the situation instead of calling Powell Electric immediately. 4 Tylenol and 7 videos later, I finally called. One of their electricians could come to the rescue in the afternoon and Doug arrived just before I took a hammer, blow torch and anything else I could find to the fire alarm. He immediately "un-chirped" the unit and had a replacement with him. We had time to talk through other electrical issues we are having and he gave me a brief estimate to the work and he'll send a more detailed list tonight. Great guy, great electrician and my dog loved him as well. Thank you to Powell Electric for your fast response and to Doug for your fast "un-chirping"! We look forward to working with you all in the future and knowing that everything will be done professionally.
Very pleased 👍with the Powell Electric guys I was sent. John Ortiz and Kevin were always on time and even early to do their work. Very professional and very knowledgeable in what they are doing. Nothing was a big deal to questions and concerns raised. Howard, Sam and Jason were also very helpful when I had an issue after the work was done. Highly recommend for small or big job. And they cleaned up after their job everyday😁
Miguel, Juan, and Sebastian from Powell Electric were awesome. It was a 3-day project with lots of surprises that they adjusted to, were friendly and left my house spotless at the end of each day. I had put off this project for 2 years. So happy I found Powell Electric!
This is not the first time i have used Powell electric’s services. The first time was about 30 years ago. I moved a wall between a closet and a half bathroom-only sink and toilet, no shower, put in a shower stall in a 3 bedroom rental my father and i were trying to improve as it had only one shower for 3 tenants . Powell put in the switches and i think the ceiling exhaust fan. I Trusted Powell then and i trust them still. Douglas the technician inspected the two panels Outside which appeared to be lacking ground wires in my estimation and explained that some of the curcuits had the old metal conduit which acted as a ground. And the romex running everywhere i Thought was not code he explained Is in fact code and safe. Myself, after thirty plus years maintaining and repairing Rental units still think the metal conduit best and adds value to your investment and romex does not which when financies permit i will have Powell remove and entirely replace. One thing I’m still worried About is whether or not not someone has my entire circuits on an app or somehow madethemselves administrator of my wifi or have a hidden módem somewhere inside the attic or walls to drive me crazy so i will run and sell the house at a significantly lower price than my inexperienced mother paid for it. I have repaired every problem the house has presented me with so far; water appearing on bathroom floors out of nowhere. lights which won’t come on or go off or come on and go off out of nowhere. My smart TV changes the channel just as president Obama has got my full attention and the remote won’t take me back to. Oops I think i over shared. Powell electric at least put my mind at ease. I was worried a fire might break out in the attic because of intentional creative wiring.
