Had a non working heathkit ar 1500 and they did a great job bringing it back to working condition. Awesome job.
Was recommended Chris by a local music shop as I needed to have my old Technics SL-L1 turntable serviced. It works like it's brand new, the service was very fast and a lot cheaper than I was expecting. Highly recommend them and will be going back!
I had an excellent 35-year-old Technics stereo system that I wanted to give to my son, since he grew up listening to it and attached a lot of sentimental value to it. It had been in storage for 4 years, and when we set it up we found that the Technics SL-QD33 direct drive turntable was no longer working. I brought it in to Chris, and he and Tom worked their wizardly talents on it and got it working perfectly. They took it apart, cleaned and relubricated it, replaced some capacitors, and found that the main circuit board had gone bad. They searched high and low and found a used replacement online and installed it, and that did the trick! My son is big into LPs, so he is overjoyed he now has a great vintage stereo system with the SL-QD33, a Technics SA-949 receiver, and Cambridge SoundWorks Ensemble II speakers. Chris and Tom are absolute masters at restoring vintage stereo equipment and I can’t thank them enough. And their price for the repairs was very reasonable, too! I highly recommend them.
Third time is the charm! Brought my 1976 vintage Marantz 6300 for repair. It was turned around very quickly and professionally. This was the third place to which I brought it, the other two could not fix it. I am extremely plesaed with the service and the condition in which my turntable was returned. Try here first for your electronic repair needs.
Above and beyond! I brought in a 60 year old record player console that no longer worked. The brand no longer exists, and therefore neither do replacement parts. The guys at precision cleaned, refurbished, and tracked down comparable replacement parts from all corners of the world and restored it to absolute perfection and for an extremely reasonable price.
