Gentleman at the counter was very helpful and friendly as it was my first time. He explained the various cakes when I asked questions and even suggested the best way to enjoy the selections I had made. I just took a few bites of the one I bought myself and it was very good but most importantly perfectly moist. Top tier local cake establishment for sure! Can’t wait for my dad to try his Exotic Jamaican Carrot Cake, let alone just see it lol.

Cake is sooo good and moist! I’ve tried a few different one and today I got the sweet potato one.. Fire! Not overly sweet it was perfect and a good size slice as well! The strawberry cheesecake.. I have never had anything like this! It’s a layer of cheesecake cake and them actual cake! It is sweeter than the cake BUT I’ve been back 3 times just for this! Truly to die for!! And the customer service (owner) is just as sweet as her cakes! Will be back soon

Absolutely love this bakery! My Daddy and Momma are FANS of their sweet potato pie. All of their cakes, pie or any dessert is amazing. You can taste the love. Pure ingredients. Bring your utensil and be prepared to eat in your car or take it home.

Some people may complain that this place is a To-Go Orders Only establishment or it lacks presentation and atmosphere or the business hours are short or the cake slices cost too much, but I feel some critics are missing the point of this small business. The focus is THE CAKES. This is smart entrepreneurial economics for a small, family-owned business. The quality of the product is the main focus because it is what will bring in the cash. The cakes sell themselves. Simple, yet brilliant. Are the cake slices worth $8 -$12 a piece? YES!!!!! Look at the competition located in the same complex. I’ve tried their cakes. Their cakes are small, probably the same weight, cost about the same but are FULL OF PRESERVATIVES! YUCK! 🤢 I tried ONE SLICE of Lemon Blueberry Explosion from Premier Cakes and didn’t even start my car to leave because I sat there and ATE THE WHOLE SLICE. It’s THAT GOOD!!!! The blueberries are tart and juicy. The cake is moist, flavorful and not too sweet. It was just right. I went back and got 3 more slices of different flavors. I met the owners and introduced myself to them. I noticed what type of ingredients and flour they use in the recipes and that alone speaks volumes to me as a cake lover. I absolutely ADORE homemade cakes! 😍 And not everyone can make good, moist, delicious, homemade cakes. Best of all, no preservatives and I can taste the difference! Thank you, Premier Cakes, for sharing your love of homemade cakes! 10/20/2025 - In Raleigh again. Got 2 slices of Lemon Blueberry Explosion and Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake. Sat in my car and ate the chocolate slice. The chocolate one is delicious. Moist and not too sweet. The Lemon Blueberry is also delicious. The best cakes I have EVER eaten!

I stumbled upon this bakery while in the area and said, "Let me give them a try." The setup is not ideal... it's like a walk-up window thingy... we had to ring a bell for service. Also, they dont distribute eating utensils... which is ok if you plan on not eating your slice in the car. If you do... bring a fork... lol Now let's get to reviewing the cake slices: tiramisu 7/10 Carrot Cake 6/10 Strawberry Lemon 8/10 I think they are over priced by $2.00. Would I try them again?... probably... if they have a BOGO deal.... because $9 bucks for a slice is a bit high to me. The front window staff was super nice and conversational, which was a pleasure.
