Annie visited us for a complimentary mini-design session to better understand our ideas and decorating needs.She was punctual, listened carefully, and took detailed notes. Annie incorporated the look in the photos we provided to develop a concept design tailored to our preferences. She presented her work at a follow-up meeting, which included mood boards, layouts, and 3D models. Annie was receptive to our feedback and remained open and responsive to our suggestions. Throughout the process, Annie handled challenges effectively and made sure to align her designs with our taste. We are delighted with every aspect, from the color palette to the selected furniture. Annie truly transformed our house into a home. We highly recommend Annie for her expertise and dedication.
Not even sure where to start. We built a new home and wanted it to “flow” from room to room. I saw an ad for Pressley Design, and Paula Wolfe answered the call. I am very “opinionated” when it comes to color and decorating, and I was determined to bring many of my things with me.. Paula never blinked! She calmed me down during building meltdowns and encouraged me through the entire process, yet was never afraid to tell me when one of my “great ideas” simply would not work! The end result? A home that is EXACTLY what I envisioned. And we’re still not finished! I have honestly come to think of Paula and her “team” as a good friends .
We purchased a home that needed a complete makeover, and had no idea where to begin. Thankfully, we found Annie Abanilla; she gave us hope and a plan! We immediately needed contractors for remodeling. To our relief, Annie had the highest quality contractors, and they became our "remodel family" with Annie; all such really good people! We asked Annie to decorate and furnish most of the downstairs on her own; including paint color, furniture, wall decor. She worked with us when we had ideas; and she had ideas when we didn't. The transformation of the house was EXTREME - like going from darkness to light. Her vision made our cold, outdated house into a warm and beautiful home! (When finished, someone even questioned if it was even the same house!) Annie had the knowledge, skills and "good taste" for this, but her special, personal touch is what we loved most. She wanted every light fixture, every color, every texture, to be something we loved and felt "at home" with. Our home is not just beautiful; it is US and we love it!
We were referred to Paula by a friend so we reached out to her for help with creating a beautiful living and dining room. We knew we wanted custom drapery panels and some additional furniture but she knew exactly how to help us determine a plan and arrive at a budget. She presented her design which included fabric and rug samples, paint colors, furniture ideas, and more. She followed it up with a digital rendering showing the selections for both rooms. She kept us updated on the progress every step of the way and on installation day everything went perfectly. We absolutely love it! Paula is so fun and easy to work with—we can’t wait to work with her again!
I had such a wonderful experience working with Annie Abanilla. She was attentive, communicative, and a great collaborator. She and her team did an excellent job creating a window seat cushion for my home. The goal was "intentional color" to break up the gray base color in the common area, to match the other accent design elements, and to create an inviting element to the window seat. She nailed it! She also provided estimates for window treatments for the other rooms. I plan to use her again for additional window seat cushions.
