As I entered my mid-30s I believed I had experienced all that could be expected from a haircut. Shortened follicles, an update on the war of attrition with my hairline and afternoon of increased aerodynamics for more head. That was until I encountered this place. As I left Finn's shop, I knew something was different. At the final reveal i'd said " yeah great!" and actually meant it. But that wasn't all. Something had changed in the air and I could feel it in my scalp. My car ran better and the fuel gauge had changed to glowing infinity symbol. That evening my partner demanded carnal intimacy and then for me to explain Warhammer lore to her. My Netflix invoice simply read " It's on the house". The next day my Boss called me asking if he could work my weekend shift. Staff in Bunnings have started asking ME where to find things in store. I awoke to find birds cleaning shit off my car. My in laws asked my for permission for me to marry their daughter. Other people's Grandmother's have started sending me birthday money. The Doctor's tell me i've grown to over 6 ft and paid me for the consult. Cops breathalyse me and high five me on the result. Airplane pilots ask if they can visit my seat. Google maps now asks me for directions and Siri keeps asking i'm single. I could go on but in short if you do nothing else with your life, do yourself the favour of visiting Pretty Good Barbers activate the cheat codes to life. Ciao

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently visited this new barber shop and I couldn't be happier with my experience! I got an excellent fade cut that I absolutely love. The shop's fit-out is great, with awesome vibes and artwork from local artists on the walls. The banter made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place! I'll definitely be back! ✂️

"Pretty good" is an understatement. If you're looking for the perfect mens hair cut, this is definitely the place to go! Finn is an expert when it comes to cutting hair, very experienced with great attention to detail, he's also good for a chat in a chilled, non pretentious environment. I highly recommend Pretty Good Barbershop!!

Pretty Good Barber was such a great barber experience in east Newcastle. Fin was awesome with my two boys aged 7 and 9 and made them feel like big kids. He really listened to what they wanted and explained their hair to them. Great experience getting a kids cut at the barber.
