I think the experience and final product really depend on your stylist. My daughter and I both went for a dry style (we came with clean dry hair) and we were both looking for curls for family pictures. We both have fine hair. My hair was wonderful and the stylist took time to add additional product for it would last and did not brush out in the salon since I told her pictures were 2 hours away. My daughter’s hair fell flat within 45 minutes and I had to re-curl at home. Her stylist didn’t bother to ask any questions or try to work through making it last a little longer. Not sure we would go back to just a random stylist.

Here’s a polished review you can use: ⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at High Street Primp and Blow! I was able to get a same-day appointment with Sargon, and he was fantastic. He took the time to ask questions about my hair and really understand what I was looking for. He was friendly, attentive, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I’m very happy with the results and highly recommend booking with Sargon!

Hi. Usually, I do not leave bad reviews. The only reason I am doing so is so, so someone does not Experience the same level of service I did. I’ve seem to notice a trend with primp and blow the last few months. I called to do a $15 next day refresh and I will say I was able to get in right away which I was happy about. However, Morgan the girl that did my hair was clearly not experienced at blowouts. I have extensions and her brushes kept getting tangled in my hair. I asked her to redo a few sections and it was obvious she was struggling. I have noticed this has become a pattern with hiring inexperienced stylists. Blowouts are a luxury experience where someone expects to be pampered and relaxed. Not have someone struggle to do what they are hired to do and leave the salon seeing no difference. The woman who cashed me out asked how my experience was and I responded, “it was okay, I could tell she was newer.” And all the woman said was “oh ok”. Do not go to this location if you have high expectations. My hair is flat and my appt was at 10:30 AM. Highly disappointed!!!

My mom went for a 1920s hairstyle and air brush makeup. We provided pictures of what she wanted for hair, but it ended up looking nothing like the pictures. It looked barely curled. When she told the stylist we didn't like it, she said her hair was too thin to do anything more. She was supposed to be an experienced stylist. The following weekend, I curled my mom's hair at home and had no trouble with it. We wish we wouldn't have wasted the time and money on it. It was very disappointing for her 75th birthday party. She wanted to cry, but didn't want to ruin her makeup. The makeup artist did a great job. Photo in white is the salon hair and photo in black is when I did it a week later.
