In February this year, the tree in my backyard was made a Heritage Tree by the Encinitas City Council as it is a special Leucadia Landmark. My guess is that it is about 70-100 years old and nearly 100ft tall. It takes a special team to climb and trim the tree. Coordinating with the city, ProTrees just trimmed it by climbing only which is breathtaking to watch! They did an amazing job as you can see from the pictures below. You can see the special Heritage tree and its new look by driving along Leucadia Blvd or from the ridge looking west! The Pro Trees team takes into consideration long term health and growth of trees while lacing and trimming - the team took great care in working on my Italian Stone Pine and it looks beautiful! The tree is close to my house, hovers over my waterfall and pond, with many additional plants and landscaping obstacles that were conscientiously protected during the process. I highly recommend Arborist Theron and his team at Pro Trees for their holistic approach to Tree trimming and management!

On a Sunday, one of our trees that had been leaning began to fall further. I sent a quick email to Pro Trees. First thing Monday, the office contacted me and said they were working on a proposal. By Tuesday morning, the tree was removed and we were relieved. We are grateful to Pro Trees for doing such a timely job. We have used them before for routine tree maintenance. They do a fantastic job and their clean up is excellent. I recommend Theron and his team.

We had this company prune some trees and they looked fine, so we invited them back to fix our avocado tree that had fallen. They took months to come out and finally arrived unannounced. Then, they damaged the yard more than helped. The tree is still at the same fallen angle with stakes mounted to exposed concrete (which I specifically said I wanted to avoid) and they left the fence with a piece torn down. Feel free to look at the images below. I strongly recommend finding another arborist.

Pro Trees Arboriculture are the absolute Best Tree Care contractor! They are dedicated to their job and they actually go up in your trees to do the trimming correctly! They really care as you can see by the pics. They even lay a nice large tarp to ensure everything is done nice and neat! We are so excited to have found this company! They are the real deal!!
