Rude and condescending. I have a complex job, as it’s a large job inside an indoor pool room with 20 foot ceilings over a pool (which requires consideration for humidity and frequent splashing). Frank asked for a $75 dollar consultation fee as a response to my email inquiry. I simply asked if the job is within the scope of their company before we waste any time, time off work or investment into it, and Franks response was “there are no guarantees, and if the 75.00 consultation fee scares you off don’t get involved in a project of this type.” Ridiculous. I have spent years working with contractors of all backgrounds and specialties and have never received such a condescending and arrogant email as a response to a reasonable request. Company does not put client care first.

We contacted Frank from ProMax to look at our bedroom furniture that had some damage from our recent move and damage on one of our nightstands. He came in said that he could help and make it look good and not such an eyesore. Well, he did and his son, Max, did an awesome job. If they couldn’t fix it, they would have let us know. If you have some furniture that needs to be repaired, don’t hesitate. It will cost you but you won’t be disappointed. Unless they do a complete strip of the wood, it will never be 100%. The great thing is I didn’t have to do it myself.

In our 35 years, we have owned in total five homes. During that time, you can imagine how many people we have hired to do various renovational jobs. Never has anyone ever come close to the standards, expertise, and care that Max has demonstrated. This is something that our world is in need of. Max is a star. One of the many things that impressed us with him and his work was his focus on every moment of his production. We have seen so many others who, not really caring, or taking pride in their work, have been all too ready to indulge in any type of diversional activity rather than total focus on the work at hand.
