We recently had some furniture repairs done by Tynis, the owner of this excellent family-run business, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. What started as a relatively simple repair turned into a larger restoration project due to hidden wear and tear (doors wouldn't close due to shifting parts over time). Tynis handled it all with incredible skill, patience, and integrity. He clearly cares about the quality of his work and doesn't cut corners. He took the time to do things the right way—taking pieces back with him multiple times to make sure the repairs were not just quick fixes, but ones that would last. His attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship really stood out. On top of that, Tynis was friendly, professional, and very fair with pricing. Even as the scope of the work grew, he never tried to upsell or overcharge. He simply wanted to leave us with furniture that was functional and durable, and we truly appreciate that level of care. Highly recommend this business if you're looking for someone who treats your furniture with the same respect as if it were their own. Excellent work, and even better people.

Highly recommend for piano restoration. The lyre on our Haddorff Vertichord was broken in our move. Very happy with the work Tynis and his team completed on restoring the lyre. Very reasonably priced too. Pictures say it all. Of note, I only asked for correction of the vertical shear at the base and restoration of the satin finish overlying that area and not all the chips it’s had over the many years.

Promet Restoration works such magic!! We were so upset over an ugly dent the piano delivery team did to our new piano lid, but our piano dealer assured us that Tynis would be the best in the West coast to take care of the problem. And they were right - I cannot even tell there was ever a dent or any work done. Tynis and Dakota were highly professional, responsive and patient with our questions. On delivery day, Dakota took extra time to buff the lid one more time to make sure it exactly matched the satin finish of the rest of the piano so everything was seamless. Highly recommend this company!

If I could add more stars for this amazing company, I would. Promet Restoration was an incredible find. I researched antique furniture repair places when I first moved to Seattle, and Promet was one of the few to reply and respond consistently quickly to my initial inquiry and also through the process from start to finish. Tynis Promet and his team are kind and clearly care deeply about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. The repair was done in a short time and for a reasonable price. In addition, when Tynis repaired the piece that had been broken off of an antique vanity he made it possible to easily deattach and reattach so the piece can be more easily moved without damage if/when I move again. I am so grateful and happy to see this beautiful piece of furniture so well-repaired!! Super gratitude, and I highly recommend you go with these guys for your repair needs. :)

Promet Restoration is an impressive working shop filled with projects as magnificent as the grand piano down to the humble dining chair. Tynis, the owner, is the type of man who’s easy to trust with your valuable things. He met me exactly at our appointment time: drop-off and pick-up, he quoted the price upfront, and he’s pleasant to talk with. I was the customer with the humble chair and remain super impressed by their piano restoration. As you can see from the pics, the repair is 100%! I’m very happy with the outcome. Equally, I’m happy it wasn’t my job to get all the slats into the proper holes at the same time, seamlessly. Highly recommend.
