⭐ Professional & Polite Review with Areas of Opportunity My experience at the studio has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the dedication and kindness of the staff. Shy and Danaya consistently demonstrate exceptional customer care—true angels who make every student feel welcome and supported. Veronika is not only an excellent instructor but also a truly gifted dancer, and Frescy has recently shown wonderful patience by slowing down her teaching pace to better support newer students. Travis stands out for his clarity and commitment; he always takes the time to ensure everyone understands both the steps and the choreography. Ely delivers intense, high‑quality routines while remaining attentive to the physical limits of each student, something I greatly appreciated. Aris brings contagious energy and enthusiasm every Friday, creating an uplifting environment. And Jess is outstanding with larger groups; her patience, care, and attention to the progress of each student make her an ideal instructor for classes of 30+ participants. 🔧 Areas of Opportunity (Presented with Respect) While the overall teaching quality is excellent, there is an opportunity to further enhance the learning experience in Ryan I.’s class. He is clearly a talented dancer; however, strengthening his instructional techniques could greatly benefit his students. The Thursday Hip Hop “Beginner” class currently aligns more with an intermediate level, with choreography that can be quite complex for newcomers, yet it is the only option available at 6:30 PM. During the Christmas event, I also noticed that some of his younger students resorted to free‑style during their performance rather than presenting a structured routine like the groups coached by other teachers. With additional focus on beginner‑friendly instruction and routine development, Ryan’s classes could reach their full potential. Another area of improvement relates to classroom space and organization. Some sessions can become quite crowded, and I observed that energetic or more experienced students often rush to occupy the front row. This sometimes leaves beginners without a clear view of the instructor, making the learning process more challenging. This dynamic though normal in teenage settings, can feel less suitable for adult learners. Ultimately, this was the main reason I decided to step away after nearly six months, despite truly enjoying my time at the studio. 💛 Final Thoughts I deeply valued my experience at the studio and hold great appreciation for the instructors who put so much effort and passion into their teaching. I sincerely hope to return one day together with my children once the studio is able to expand into a larger facility that accommodates its growing community. The potential here is tremendous, and with just a few refinements, the studio can offer an even more exceptional and inclusive experience for dancers of all levels.
As an adult beginner, I truly enjoy dancing at Pulse. All the instructors are knowledgeable and inspiring. I really improve myself by learning here. The studio is always clean, and the staff are very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered my name after just a few days, even though it’s such a busy place. Thank you!
Our daughter just finished a 1/2 day hip hop summer camp over the past week. We didn’t know what to expect having no dance experience in the family. We knew it was the right place as our daughter (6 years old) came home beaming every day and excited to go back each day. We got to watch their performance today and it was amazing. The instructors were lovely and supportive, and overall it was an excellent experience! We will be sending our son for fall lessons this year!
Our 9-year-old son spent a week at Pulse camp and absolutely loved it! His interest first began when Pulse did a residency at his school, and it’s only grown since then. All of the instructors and volunteers are truly wonderful - so kind, encouraging, and engaging. We’re now signing him up for fall classes and couldn’t be more excited. I highly recommend the summer camp as a fantastic way to explore what Pulse has to offer!
My son (4) has been taking hip hip at Pulse for 6 months and loves going. This summer we tried the camp and he has had so much fun. He said the instructors are fun and he made a lot of friends (that's a new thing for him, since he's so young, but was really cool to hear). He's a self-confident but reserved little guy and loves to move his body. Pulse has become such a positive part of his week. I also take an adult class which lines up with his class. I appreciate the opportunity to get a workout in at a convenient time.

Ignite your passion for dance—where every move builds confidence and community for all ages!
