Chinook School of Music is an excellent place to learn music in a supportive and encouraging environment. The instructors are professional, patient, and truly passionate about teaching. They take the time to adapt lessons to each student’s level and learning style, which makes a big difference especially for beginners and children. The school is well organized, welcoming, and focused on helping students build confidence as well as real musical skills. Communication with staff is clear and friendly, and scheduling lessons is easy. You can tell they genuinely care about their students’ progress. I highly recommend Chinook School of Music to anyone in Calgary looking for quality music education in a positive and motivating setting.

Great school! Love the classes, they're very engaging, interactive, little ones love to explore the instruments. We completed the fall session so far in the 6-24 months group and already signed up for the next one. I highly recommend the school! 💙

My son has been taking guitar lessons with Lone for almost two years and it’s been such a great experience. Lone teaches him to play songs he loves which keeps him interested and engaged. We’ve also been impressed with the school as a whole - good communication and well organized with everything from registration to recitals. Would absolutely recommend!

My 9 year old daughter started guitar with Lone last year and it's been a great experience! Lone has been an amazing fun teacher and lets her chose the songs she loves to play while teaching guitar basics. The progress she has made in just one year has been incredible! My younger daughter is also doing piano with Jennifer. She is wonderfully patient and also brings a lot of fun to the lessons. The school has been wonderful in communications with us and accommodating in our lesson times. We used to attend another music studio but am glad we made the switch to Chinook as it is much more organized and the teachers have been fantastic. I highly recommend both our teachers and Chinook Music school.

Well managed music school. We've been attending with our various young children for about four years. Many of the instructors have been excellent but on the odd occasion management has been very receptive to feedback. The school is now located in the basement located via stairs on the right hand side. The unfortunate part is being located in Marda Loop. That means terrible parking and traffic. Very narrow lanes and near misses.
