I am older, headed into my 70’s , and joined Pure Barre because I want to continue to enjoy life - travel, hike, bike, ... And to avoid injuries - back pain, knee pain, etc. In short be “functionally fit”. At Pure Barre I am getting all of this and more. The classes people of all ages and abilities so any initial awkwardness was quickly dispelled. The instructors are all professional and highly trained. The first thing they ask is about injuries old and new. They have the knowledge and experience to safely guide you through the exercises. There is an emphasis on your entire core - abs, spine, pelvis, glutes and all of the muscles I’ve neglected from sitting at a desk for 40 years. After six months, it is working. I can see and feel the difference . My balance and posture have improved, my knees and shoulder no longer bother me. I can haul luggage up broken escalators at the airport and get my bag out of the bin without my shoulder shouting at me. Best of all, I just feel better all around.
This is my first month with Pure barre and I really enjoy Pure Barre is an amazing workout that truly defines and empowers you. It’s low-impact but incredibly effective — the small, precise movements target every muscle and make you feel stronger with each class. The exercises can be challenging, especially at first, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. The instructors are motivating, supportive, and always help you push through those difficult moments. Even though it’s tough, you’ll enjoy it — there’s a great sense of accomplishment when you finish a class. After just a few sessions, you start to notice better posture, more muscle tone, and a stronger, more confident version of yourself. The music, the positive energy, and the community make every class enjoyable. If you want to sculpt your body, build confidence, and feel truly empowered, Pure Barre is the perfect choice!
I love Pure barre. It’s my favorite workout hands-down. They now have a variety of classes if you want more strength or stretching. My favorite instructors at Pure barre the Woodlands are Barbara, Heather, Amy, and Tasha! But all of them each have a tremendous amount of knowledge and are amazing!
Pure Barre has inreased my overall strength and especially core strength!! I love the social aspect - it is a supportive community. The instructors are all amazing and make sure you are doing the exercises correctly to prevent injury; also they know your names and really encourage each participant at whatever level they are.
I absolutely love Pure Barre! The energy in the studio is always so uplifting, and the instructors are incredibly encouraging throughout every class. My favorite style of class is definitely Define. Define is the perfect mix of strength and endurance so I’m challenged in the best way, and I get to leave feeling stronger, more toned, and totally empowered. Can’t wait to go back for my next class!
