Love Pure Barre West Portal! Classes are great, challenging and interesting. They seem to always be shifting, so the classes never get boring. Teachers and those in the class are all so nice. The challenges are fun too and keep me going to class.

I was first introduced to PB by my friend Carrie in August 2021 when she commented on my poor posture. Prior to joining PB, I worked as a certified public accountant for more than 25 years, glued to my computer screen. Eight years ago, I fractured my foot when I tripped over my son, and five years ago, I broke my ankle in a similar incident, requiring surgery. Four years ago, I fractured my spine after falling off a bike due to poor balance and osteoporosis. My first class in August 2021 convinced me that joining PB was crucial because I struggled to hold planks for more than a few seconds. Coming to PB every day has become a source of great enjoyment for me since retiring. Encountering familiar faces and making new friends brings me immense joy, especially when I exercise with my neighbor Alma and other friends. I have a deep admiration for the amazing teachers, who are both supportive and knowledgeable. Lauren, the store owner, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Millie, the studio's general manager, does an outstanding job managing operations and is an incredible teacher. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals at PB who are committed to improving their physical and mental well-being has fueled my inspiration. I've been steadily improving my posture and now I have a slight bicep muscle to show off. Four class formats are offered to help tone and strengthen the entire body, including weight resistance, stretching, strength, and cardio. Despite taking my 1000th class today, the class doesn't become easier as my body continues to improve and strengthen. The attached photo showcases the special gift I received from Pure Barre at West Portal to celebrate reaching my 1000th milestone. If only I had discovered this place earlier, I might have had fewer injuries. I recommend PB to everyone, including my optometrist and dentist who have both been to the studio. While acknowledging the class's difficulty and intimidating nature, I remember to remain strong and avoid pushing myself excessively to prevent getting hurt. This studio will captivate you as you experience the gradual transformation of your body and develop a strong bond with the community.
