This was our son’s first salon experience and we were lucky enough to book with the owner Fariba. He was pretty nervous and Fariba was really kind, calm, patient, and fast. We loved that she subtly joined in on the playfulness we were using to keep our son at ease. Our son didn’t want your standard short haircut and she did a great job of matching the reference photo we brought in. We will definitely bring him back for his next haircut.

Fariba cut my 15 month old’s hair today and did an excellent job! She was incredibly patient and kind, and cut a perfectly even bob on a squirmy toddler. We were thoroughly impressed and had a great 1st haircut experience! Highly recommend

Fine for little kid haircuts, but my 11 year old asked for a couple of inches cut off recently (she wanted it to land just above her shoulders) and Christina cut it cheekbone length. Super frustrating and sad for my kiddo who hadn’t ventured into shorter hair before and is now really upset by how short it is. We’ll be going elsewhere for older kid cuts.

Purple monkey is the best! We brought my daughter here for her first haircut at age 3, and she actually looks forward to it every time we go back! I was amazed she let Christina wash her hair too. (Note: she HATES having her hair brushed at home!)

We brought our daughter in for her first haircut this past weekend. Fariba was wonderful! There were some baby wiggles, but no tears. We’ll be back 😇
