I went to see Juliana for my wedding dress alterations. The dress I ordered was a size too large and we had a short amount of time to get it altered. Juliana was very attentive and helpful during our consultation. She went out of her way to ensure the bust fit correctly and was as flattering as possible. She did a great job on the alterations, especially under the time restraint she was given. The dress fits very well, and she was still considerate of my comfort, ensuring that I was able to still sit and move. When I first picked out my wedding dress, I was happy with it, but I didn’t have that overwhelming “this is the one” feeling I’d heard so many other brides talk about. I was referred to Juliana Chary at Quickstitch to help with some custom changes—and from the very first appointment to the day I picked up my finished dress, the experience was absolutely wonderful. Juliana immediately understood what I was looking for, even though I had a hard time describing it clearly. I’ve never been a huge fan of sleeveless dresses, especially knowing how many pictures would be taken, so I wanted to add sleeves and make sure I could still move comfortably. Juliana created beautiful sleeves and tailored the entire fit of the dress to perfection. When I went in for my final fitting, I truly loved my dress. And on the wedding day, it was perfect. I could move freely, dance (and boy, did I dance!), and felt completely confident and comfortable. The sleeves were flawless, and everything stayed perfectly in place all day. Looking back on my wedding, I’m beyond thrilled and a huge part of that is thanks to Juliana and her incredible work. She transformed my dress into something I absolutely adored, and I’m so grateful.
