First and foremost, I have to praise the staff who work here. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside and they made sure the kids were comfortable and happy. It's just a lovely, cheerful place to be. The number of games available to play is quite extensive and there's a great selection of board games as well. The food is tasty and good value for money. It's a brilliant little place and well worth a visit.

Had an absolutely brilliant afternoon here with four 11 year olds, an hour in the arcade then 3 hours in the cafe playing games and having lunch. Good food and very reasonably priced. Staff are absolutely amazing, always available to help in the arcade and making great suggestions for board/card games and explaining how to play them, they very clearly love their work! 10/10 recommend

Staff were amazing - so knowledgeable and patient explaining the games to us. Take the time to support this amazing business! You won’t be disappointed! We’ll be back!

Although I've only visited a handful of times, R-Cade is one of my favourite places in the city! I love how versatile it is—I've visited with my son, he's had a birthday outing with friends, and I've been in the evening with my own friend for some chilled gaming with a beer (you can take drinks and pay corkage). The sheer range of retro consoles and games on offer is amazing—from Atari and SNES right up through the original PlayStation and Xbox. I love that it's a simple, one-fee-for-a-session model, meaning you can play unlimited games for the duration. They also have a fab selection of board games too. Overall, it's a great venue with genuinely knowledgeable and welcoming staff and a fantastic, community-focused atmosphere. The café is fab too, serving great coffee and snacks that perfectly complete the retro vibe. It is definitely a must-visit in Glasgow especially for those video game enthusiasts out there!
