Rachel is INCREDIBLE! Her work is beautiful but what was so special to me was how she made the entire experience fun and enjoyable for us. My husband is not usually one to enjoy getting his picture taken — he gets tense and awkward and stiff — but these pictures are evidence of how comfortable he felt; she really matched our energy and personality, and highlighted who we are as a couple.
We have been working with Rachel since our oldest was a newborn, and seeing her almost yearly has become a no brainer. She is so talented an easy to work with. Like a family friend, my kids ask “when are we going to see Miss Rachel again?” And then spend the whole session giggling (much to Mom and Dads impatience). Rachel rolls with it so well and is still able to get pictures that are amazing. I recommend her to anyone looking for baby whispering or family photos.
We’ve done photos with Rachel since the days my babies were born. The latest photos were done in our home & backyard by Rachel - a true lifelong keepsake and time capsule that I will cherish forever. Rachel’s artistic attention to detail is indescribable. You get your photos back and can’t believe the little details she catches! Probably the most talented photographer I’ve ever done photos with. We recently had the pleasure of working with Rachel for Fresh 48 and newborn photos of our daughter, and family portraits. From start to finish, our experience with Rachel was absolutely amazing! Professionalism at its finest. She handled our little one with such care and patience, and captured beautiful photos that we'll cherish forever. Additionally, her direction during the family portraits made the entire process feel effortless -- even with an energetic toddler in tow. :) Overall, we can't recommend Rachel enough. We are beyond grateful for the special moments she captured, and we look forward to working with her again in the future!
Truly blown away by Rachel and her work! When you book a newborn session with her, you’re in for a relaxing morning where she takes care of literally everything. From diaper changes to outfits, she patiently dotes on your little one while you can relax in her gorgeous studio equipped with a large TV, streaming services, snacks and refreshments. It felt more like a retreat than a photoshoot, and we even had our toddler with us for a few family shots. She is definitely setting the bar for MN photographers and we will continue to use her for milestones to come!
