If you’re thinking of booking with Rachel do it!!! She was AMAZING to work with took such BEAUTIFUL pictures that I love and gave great tips and tricks that helped my husband and I navigate through Edinburgh smoothly! Rachel Hein was an absolute joy to work with. She has wonderful taste and turned what could have been a stressful morning into something calm and genuinely enjoyable. I usually hate having my photo taken, but I loved what she produced (including my favorite photo of myself ever)! I would use her services again.

Rachel was fantastic from start to finish. From our first Zoom call with her we could tell she was a great fit for us, very relaxed and easy to work with. We arranged a pre-wedding shoot which was helpful to get used to working with her and on the actual wedding day we couldn’t have hoped for more. She was there for the important moments, and faded into the background, getting lovely candid shots of our guests having fun for the rest of the day. She struck the right balance. And we are delighted with the quality of the book she produced too.

The experience with Rachel was truly a highlight of our year. I had never been to Edinburgh but was going there on holiday with my girlfriend and going to propose. I reached out to Rachel for photographing the moment, so we could share with loved ones back home and she did so much more. She helped me find the right location and time of day. It was early but Rachel was there much earlier, gave me updates on the location as we were approaching, and was ready but not obvious as to let the moment be a surprise for my fiancé. When the moment came Rachel was there and captured everything. It was perfect! Then afterward the proposal she also guided us around the location for a photo shoot, was incredibly friendly and patient, as well as gave us great recommendations for our holiday in Edinburgh. The recommendations she gave were amazing and the photos she took are something we will always treasure. Our families loved the photos as well and many were framed and given as Christmas gifts to be cherished for a long time.
