I hired RSM as a first time ever to use maid service and I had pretty moderate expectations. I just got tired of living in a mess, two kids two kids and my wife and I we try our best but we can only do so much. Ruth came by the other day and absolutely blew me away with her work. It’s a tough job and she sure knows what she is doing. I’ll be having her come by more often now and to help with some of the places she couldn’t get the first time. Now I’m confident to have people over and keep the place clean. Ruth worked hard and was nice friendly and set the bar high! Thanks Ruth!

I recently moved into a new home and used Ready Set Maids for a move-in cleaning service. I hired Ready Set Maids and they exceeded my expectations. Their team was able to clean my entire home, including the windows, leaving it looking like new. I would definitely use their services again." I have a busy schedule, so I use Ready Set Maids for weekly cleaning services. Their team is always punctual, and friendly, and does an amazing job cleaning my entire home. We hired Ready Set Maids on 3/14/25 for a move-out cleaning of our townhome in Austin. The home wasn’t that dirty to begin with, but several areas were completely overlooked, countertops, mirrors, windows (still smudged), and multiple corners and stairs that weren’t swept or mopped. Even our primary shower tile was left uncleaned. My wife and I weren’t present during the cleaning, and we were definitely taken advantage of. We were kind enough to offer the cleaners breakfast and even allowed one to have their child with them during the cleaning since they didn’t have childcare. Afterward, we paid over $350 for what was supposed to be a professional cleaning and were extremely disappointed with the results. Based on our experience, their business model seems to rely on doing a subpar job the first time, then offering a “re-clean” if the customer complains. Unfortunately, we had already moved out of state and couldn’t be there for a re-clean. For that price, the job should have been done right the first time. Customer service was just as bad, Mary S., the so-called “Chief Happiness Officer,” only offered a $50 refund, claiming the team completed 99% of the job. We provided photos of the issues, which were ignored. Completely unacceptable. Do not recommend Ready Set Maids – Central Houston. Stay away.

Update as of 9/23/25: Still using them. I had to switch dates and now Sandra Perez has been assigned to my house and she is lovely as well. Sweet and pays attention to details. I had a great Experience! They definitely lived up to their 5 star reviews🤗. Nora was amazing! So sweet and thorough. I will be hiring them again soon.

The "cleaning" team that came to my house doesn't know how to clean. Their concept of cleaning was pushing dirt around and leaving mounts of dirt everywhere, floor, counters and all surfaces. There were several areas throughout my house that were completely untouched. I had to chase them to their car so they came back and fix the several messes they left. The techniques they used to "clean" make no sense at all, they came back and started sweeping some of the messes they left on the floor throwing dirt onto the living room rug, which they vacuumed only because I pointed out what they were doing. Even when redoing the countertops they were incapable of cleaning them and would just push things around still leaving dirt and crumbs on them so I had to teach them. I hired this service to save me time; however here I am having to clean after them because I'm finding more surfaces and spots that were completely untouched. This was a huge waste of my time and money. I feel l got scammed by your company and now there are strangers walking around with photos of the interior of my house in their phones. You purposely didn't disclose to me that you would be taking pictures of the interior of my house, I never authorized that. That is extremely shady and unacceptable. Response to business reply: Yes, you should be sorry that my experience did not meet my expectations. I paid your company for a deep detailed cleaning, the team that came here didn't even know what they were supposed to do. So you may want to learn from this, pay attention and communicate with your staff. Your team was not only inept and lacks common sense, they are also liars. While they were here I received a message from your company stating that I had asked you cleaning team to clean the oven, which is a complete lie, we never had that conversation AT ALL, I was very puzzled by this. They were extremely slow and kept handling personal business on their phones (talking on the phone) while on the job. Now they're claiming that I disrespected them was rude and mistreated them? That is an absolute lie. I would never treat people like that. They may be upset because I had to tell one of them to re-do something 3 times, as they do not know how to clean, and pointed out when the other one was sweeping dirt onto the rug; So now they are lying to you. I'd be careful with them if I were you. But I guess go ahead and believe what the inept liars are telling you. As for my house, this is not true, you do not know what you're saying, as you have never been in my house and are choosing to believe that my house hasn't been cleaned in years, based on what the liars are telling you. Also, you claimed that you attached photos? Photos that you also claim are protected in your system, which is a mastery since the second your team walks out the door, the photos are what? Deleted from their phones? Yeah right! PHOTOS OF MY HOME THAT I NEVER AUTHORIZED BE TAKEN, NOR DID YOU DISCLOSE YOU WOULD BE TAKING PHOTOS. Your team has nothing but liars, no one ever recommended any type of specific cleaning. I just told them what I needed which was a deep detailed cleaning and was assured you knew what you were doing and that everything would be taken care of. Another violation of privacy, YOU ARE EXPOSING MY FULL NAME ON HERE. I don't think that's allowed. You know, it's common sense, something you don't understand. Inept liars.
