These have been the worse people I’ve ever dealt with it is VERY hard to reach them i have been switched over from attorney to attorney nobody knows anything . They file information and do not inform you of the outcome and they pop up with things at the last minute you are not aware of ! You will NOT know anything if you don’t call and almost hassle them for it i wouldn’t recommend to a soul please look somewhere else im almost halfway through my process and I’m about to end this and go start all the way over i cant deal with the lack of communication.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD!!!!!!!!! These people are the WORST!!!!! They have no communication skills and when you finally speak to someone it’s a paralegal that knows nothing at all about your case. They took all of my mom’s settlement money and didn’t pay her doctor bills like they were supposed to. She was later hit with a huge doctor bill and didn’t receive any of the money she was promised. They are scammers preying on innocent people under the guise of lawyers. I wouldn’t recommend them to slop my hogs let alone represent me. Horrible attorneys!!!!!!

Title: Poor Communication, Lack of Diligence, and Unfulfilled Promises in Personal Injury Case I hired Henry E. Reaves III and Reaves Law Firm, PLLC in late July 2025 to handle my personal injury claim after a car accident in Shelby County, TN (caused by another driver). I signed a retainer around July 29, 2025, expecting competent, diligent representation, regular updates, and proper handling of medical treatment and settlement efforts. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and fell far short of professional standards: • Poor or nonexistent communication — Despite multiple calls (at least 15 attempts, some documented) and certified letters, I was repeatedly ignored. I was left uninformed about case progress, deadlines, and options for medical care to address my ongoing pain and injuries. This violated basic expectations of client updates. • Lack of diligence and competent handling — The firm failed to properly investigate the accident, preserve evidence promptly, or secure medical records before any demand. They pushed an aggressive "no negotiation" strategy (time-limited demand then immediate lawsuit) without clearly explaining or getting my informed consent in writing. The complaint wasn't filed until September 2025, and no doctor visits or prescriptions were arranged or encouraged, potentially harming my recovery and claim value (medical bills already over $25,000, total damages estimated $35,000+). • Misleading promises — I was assured of a "quick settlement" during initial talks, but no thorough evaluation occurred. Post-retention, there were unfulfilled promises of communication and progress. When I raised concerns about back pain and lack of medical attention in September 2025, I terminated services on September 3 (or 9 per their records), but received no proper disengagement letter or full file transfer. • Other issues — The firm claimed I refused medical treatment (via a call to my sister's phone after I lost mine), but I have no record of advice to seek care if needed, and no authorization for third-party contact. Litigation was advanced aggressively without my full understanding or agreement. I filed a formal ethics complaint with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility (TBPR Docket No. 101639-2025-9-TT-INV), citing violations of rules on competence (RPC 1.1), diligence (1.3), communication (1.4), and honesty (8.4(c)). I later submitted a follow-up letter requesting evidence (signed PSA details, call logs, demand package, disengagement letter, etc.) because the firm's response to TBPR appeared inaccurate based on my records. This representation caused unnecessary stress, prolonged pain, unpaid medical bills, and weakened my legal position. I do not recommend Reaves Law Firm or Henry E. Reaves III for personal injury cases. Potential clients should be cautious about communication, transparency, and actual case handling. If you're considering this firm, ask detailed questions upfront and get everything in writing. Sincerely, George B. Cooper

I initially can say the service that was provided was very satisfying, but since one of my medical bill hasn’t been paid, now the medical facility are harassing me for their payment . There are issues getting payment to them, it has brought my view down for this Reaves Law Firm. I have been calling for over two months just for someone to speak with me to get assistance in getting this bill taken care of, to the company that is owed for their service. They are harassing me via email phone calls and letters. I have repeatedly call the Reaves law Firm and no one has called me back since November. I have repeatedly made calls to them and have not got any service to help me with this issue that should’ve been taken care of back in June 2025. I’m almost at a loss not being able to communicate with them to get assistance. I’m making comments hoping that someone can pay attention to helping me who was their client. This could be able to be taken care, but no one seems to want to want to call me back to get this issue settle something that should’ve been done by them.
