Generally a nice gym. Worked out here for the last 5 months on month to month. The men’s sauna has been out of order for 2 weeks so I am exploring other gyms. One of the people at the desk told me that it was closed for misuse, indicating its closure was almost a punishment instead of being broken. I call every few days to check on the status and no one has indicated it’s being worked on yet or if there is an estimated time for it to be back online- leading me to explore other gyms. Checking out Absolute Recomp as the pricing is essentially the same for non students ($65/month vs $66/month).

I came to use the gym at the rec center like any other day and the guy at the front desk (with black curly hair), told me that I wasn't allowed to use the facility today because my "skin is too dark" for him.. I'm shocked

Love working out here. And on a day I don't feel like doing much it's a great place to play some pool and hang out or use the rock climbing wall. So happy I joined.

Parking is atrocious. The rec center is great. Clear bag purse policy in full effect. Concessions are inexpensive. Went there for a volleyball game and had a blast. Good for all ages. 👍👍👍
