Revised and updated review: I had a couple of issues with a rental and extra charges recently. Management/Ownership contacted me about it and got it corrected without issue. A hydraulic hose sprung a leak during normal use and the maintenance group listed it as a customer's fault. That decision led to a rather inflated charge to replace one hydraulic hose on a simple Harley rake cylinder. The additional charge on my card came as a surprise to me which led to me contacting them. After a conversation with Management/Ownership, we concluded that the extra charge had come from some communication issues and we got it all sorted out. While I don't think this situation should have needed management's assistance to correct, I was glad to find out that it is still the same family group that owns the business.

I called True Value to rent a powered drainer auger over the weekend. Everyone I spoke to was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were also willing to work with me on scheduling the pickup and drop-off of my equipment rental outside of my work hours. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be calling them the next time I need a rental.

Super friendly staff and renting a trailer for a few hours was very easy. They had me in and out in about 10 minutes. Returning was even easier. Selection was also really good - had all kinds of equipment I didn’t realize they had. Prices were spot-on. Will definitely be back!

Very helpful staff, good product selection, rental equipment in above average condition, big lot to navigate your vehicle around. I should add, reasonable rental d fees too. The photo is of the auger I rented. Don't want to hand dig postholes anymore? Rent this bad boy. Be forewarned, roots will stop the auger cold.
