I had a major refit of my multiple circuit boxes including the main service entry box. The service was done in the winter and Residential Electric sent enough techs to get the job done in one day. There are electricians who just get the work done, and there are electricians who make things right. These ARE the guys who make things right. They charge a reasonable rate for the quality of the work they demand to do. All the guys who included “green” guys who are learning were respectful of my home. The guys in charge were masters at what they do. I had the service box plus 5 other boxes worked on from 8am to almost 4pm. All work completed and everything worked. The guys checked that every room and plug worked before leaving. I was provided a walk through before they left and all questions were answered. My home, being built in 1936 so it’s not easy to work on. I can not recommend them enough.

Dan was able to schedule me for morning the next day. Reese arrived on time, explained the job well, and there were no unwelcome surprises on the charges...the price quited was the price charged. Residential Electric did a great job from start to finish!

The electricians that work for are highly qualified and do exceptional work. They ran power to our garage. The nicest looking job I’ve ever seen. Then we hired them to install two floodlights on the garage. We were missing a ground wire as we found out when cutting some copper pipe. I couldn’t find it but they did and repaired it. The person who installed the ground wire noticed our feeder from DTE was undersized for the current draw. They measured the current draw and found it higher than the feeder could handle. After they upgraded the wire I inspected the old one. It was a serious accident waiting to happen. We have also hired them to do some work at our son’s house. I’m a registered professional engineer and have been for 40 years. If you need electrical work, hire Residential Electric. You will thank me.

Dan was able to fit us in his schedule quickly. Josh was assigned to my job and he was awesome! You could tell that he loves his job and knew exactly what he was doing. He installed 7 ceiling fans (1 where there was no previous light in the ceiling), changed approximately 12 2-prong to 3-prong outlets, a couple of switches, installed 2 new outlets and a Hallway light, troubleshoot the electrical in the sunroom, and the kitchen, and traced and labeled the electrical box. Josh did a fantastic job! Also, on the 2nd day, his partner, I think his name is Rob, came to help and he did a great job too!! I would definitely trust Residential Electrical to do all of my electrical needs!! Very trustworthy company!!

A tree fell on the power line coming into the house which bent the riser that comes up from the meter box and goes up to the roof. Nick was the technician who helped us and he did a great job. I would recommend Nick R. and the other guys at Residental Electric because they are great at explaining all parts of the problem and answering any questions we had about the meter box, breaker box, and riser. Our house is around 60 years old and has outdated electrical systems. Nick replaced the meter box for us, installed a new riser, and tightened the power line coming into the house that had a lot of slack after the tree fell.
