Rich Port Coffee is a family-owned, community-focused coffee shop in Chesapeake's South Norfolk District, specializing as the only Puerto Rican coffee roaster in Virginia. We offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere with two separate seating areas—perfect for business meetings or family time, including a dedicated children's playroom. Our menu features freshly roasted beans from Puerto Rico, Colombia, El Salvador, and Mexico, available by the cup, whole bean, or ground, alongside delicious pastries, local Virginia products, and snacks. Such a cozy and welcoming coffee shop! The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. The coffee is always fresh and flavorful, and you can really tell how much care goes into every cup. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Definitely one of my favorite spots — I’ll keep coming back! And also If you have little kids with you , don’t worry about it. It has a play room for the kids 😇
it was very quiet and quaint. I couldn't decide on which coffee and snack I wanted but what I did know is I wanted to try it all! it was great! the danish and latte were amazing and the staff...very kind and friendly. I will be back! And was able to get some beans to take home!
Great neighborhood spot! We tried the coquito cold brew and the quesito. Both were great! We will be regular customers.
Excited about the visit to Rich Port Coffee's newest location in Chesapeake's South Norfolk District. This quaint coffee shop features Rich Port Coffee...the only Puerto Rican Coffee roasted and brewed in Virginia. Yes, they have other coffees too. (From: Columbia, El Salvador, Mexico, etc...) They sell whole bean, ground and of course coffee by the cup. The shop also offers pastries, local Virginia products and other eats if you are hungry. Rich Port is the ideal place to grab your morning coffee or have your afternoon "pick me up" coffee. This family run coffee shop loves community as much as they love coffee. The shop features two separate seating areas and is family / children friendly. There were parents with children coloring in one room and people conducting business meetings in the other when I visited. Rich Port Coffee shop is definitely worth a visit.
My daughter and I had an amazing experience here! This family owned business is incredibly, friendly, and extremely welcoming. We love their hot chocolate and various other menu items. We are so lucky to have this place in South Norfolk. I cannot recommend it enough! They have a cute children’s area, a clean restroom, and plenty of indoor seating.
