Awesome experience all the way around. Easy to book online, great location, super friendly, hard working and lastly super talented barber. I’m in town visiting family and was in desperate need of a haircut and a shave. Joe nailed it. I’ll be doing some extra planning on all my future trips to build in a stop to see Joe.

If you’re looking for a true barbershop experience, look no further. I’d had long hair for over a decade, usually kept in a tight bun, and had been considering cutting it for about a year. The problem was finding a place that truly specialized in men’s hair. One afternoon, my wife mentioned a cool little barbershop she spotted in Carytown while walking the dog. After checking out the website and reading the Google reviews, I decided to throw caution to the wind and finally cut my hair. Booking the appointment through the website was quick and easy. When I arrived, Joe greeted me with a smile and a handshake. We chatted for a bit, and I showed him a couple of AI-generated photos of the style I had in mind. After looking them over, we settled on one that felt just right. Once the cutting started, I knew immediately I’d made the right decision. As the hair came off, we had a great conversation, and the whole experience felt relaxed and professional. When he finished, Joe styled my hair with Prospectors Pomade, and I was blown away by how closely it matched the AI photo. Joe has been extremely generous with his time and his attention to detail when cutting my hair is second to none. He’s always open to feedback and he’s super easy to schedule with. I moved to Richmond a year ago and have been in search for a consistent barber for a while, and I’ve finally found one. Couldn’t recommend this shop enough.

Richmond Barbershop is officially one of the best barbershops in Richmond Virginia. The shop is clean comfortable and has a great laid back vibe. Joe the owner is an excellent barber and just a genuinely good guy. He really takes his time listens to what you want and makes sure the cut is right before you leave the chair. Every haircut is clean consistent and exactly what I am looking for. Appointments are easy everything runs on time and the quality never drops. If you are looking for a solid reliable barber in Richmond VA Richmond Barbershop is the place to go. Highly recommend
