If you are in Australia, you just have to get yourself a drum teacher called Aussie! He will teach you to keep time, and it will change your life! Believe me, you don’t want to waste your time, you want to keep it - and Richmond Music Academy is just a place for it! The most lovely team, great musical and teaching skills and inspiring environment. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Genuinely an INCREDIBLE team here – could not speak highly enough. After one visit, I signed up to ongoing vocal lessons – Jock is an incredible teacher from the get-go. He explained the ongoing process well, and was really accommodating, encouraging and honest. If you have Q’s highly recommended emailing or calling: I spoke with Sanghoon, one of the coordinators , who has great communication, answered all my queries, and made sure everything was clearly explained. Even if you’re someone who’s a little nervous to get started, I would feel pretty confident recommending to try a lesson out. The team definitely will make sure you feel comfortable.

I had a great time at RMA music class! Every teacher is such a skilled and enthusiastic musician. In addition to teaching me music, they also inspire me to perform it, which is why I’m currently playing at venues and working with other musicians. If you want to take classes in music for fun or to prepare for the future, I wholeheartedly recommend this school!

I have been learned classical guitar with Michael for 6 years and have had the best time. Lots of support from Michael culminated in me doing my grade 8 AMEB last year. This is a truly wonderful music school and Michael and the teachers are totally committed to giving the best of the best music lessons. Cannot recommend more highly.

The best music school in Melbourne for all levels. The teachers are very friendly and organise an open mic every couple of months which they encourage everyone to get up and play at. Super supportive and inclusive environment. Shout out to Adrian Burruto who is da man and one of the most committed professionals I’ve met. He has pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and continually motivated me to practice more when other teachers would have lost their patience with me long ago!
