We decided on Rioja due to a friends recommendation, and we are so glad we did! We received some samples from the staff at the bar before deciding on a glass. This was difficult due to the vast selection we had to choose from. The atmosphere was nice and quaint. Our waitress Stephanie was very attentive to us and making sure we had what we needed throughout our visit. We also tried the chicken salad which was also delicious. Would recommend 10 out 10.

We visited for a tinned fish tasting and wine pairing. Everything was delicious, and the owner was very outgoing and knowledgeable. The staff was attentive and kind. I like the general ambiance. Its quiet and cozy.

Rioja is an excellent place to drink exceptional wines at a reasonable price. The location has great ambience and can be an excellent place for an evening drink on your own, a night out with your girls, or a nice date spot. I will say the parking lot is super hectic and stays pretty packed. I was able to find a nice part, but it didn’t look promising and I’m not sure where the next this area is to park if you can’t get in the parking lot. For this visit, my group split a bottle of wine. Our host made it easy to do so. He answered all of our questions, let us sample a few ones to see which one we liked best, and he was super attentive. I forget about this spot because it’s not on my normal route, but when I go, it’s always an amazing experience.

Stumbled on this place one Friday after work right around the holidays. My partner and I just moved to Greensboro and were exploring the area around Battleground Avenue. We had late dinner plans and wanted to check out places beforehand. I normally tend to drink more beer but my partner loves wine. The guy behind the bar was really accomodating and suggested a few options and I ended up having a really tasty Pinot Noir, my partner ended up with some Italian wine that I am totally forgetting the name of but she loved it! They had a great deal on bottles to go, so she grabbed a few for the house for us to have when family came to vist for the holidays. Big fan, will be back for a proper date night where we can stay a bit longer and try more wines.
