The details of my experience with Brenda are that she is a PHENOMENAL LAWYER!!!! She is a good person, with a good heart , very honest and very straightforward. I wish I would've of met her or known about her in 2016. I'm absolutely satisfied and happy with the job/work she did on my case. I've been thru about 6 other lawyers since 2016 , all selfish, egotistical, losers, just out for money , who , after hiring them, never called me back. Brenda ,on the other hand, met with me ,discussed everything with me, LISTENED to me and what I wanted for my son, and definitely delivered. She calls you back, promptly, shows up for the court hearings, gives her honest opinion of how things are going to go down, helped me with all the paperwork and never ,once , left me hanging. I now feel like a real father to Logan ,not a babysitter or source of income to his Mom. Logan now is going to attend a very good school and spend more time with me. Her approach to everything is no nonsense, with a nice respectful smile, at first, until his Mom snubbed her and at that point, it was on !!!! She even put me in my place and told me to lose my attitude when I got upset. I absolutely Love having her to represent me and I think anyone in the State of Rhode Island with a family court issue is crazy not to call her and hire her for thier case. Attorney Rioles helped me through a life event that totally upended my world, namely, divorce. Now such a thing is common in the human experience but when it happens to you a lot of confusion and loss of clarity in one's life can enter in. Without having a good support and counsel around, too many missteps could enter in to worsen an already bad situation. Looking back now, I am glad that I reached out to Attorney Rioles, although; I should have done so sooner. I initially opted for the short in-person consultation to see if she could help me make sense of it all. She was very thorough and clear as to what I could expect in the divorce process. She had no problem answering each question I had. At times I felt like maybe I shouldn't ask too many questions because it seemed later in the afternoon, however she was calm throughout and was genuinely wanting to help me through. At the end of the consultation, I told her that I would need time to think about proceeding officially and filing the necessary paperwork in a few months. She confirmed that she would be ready when I was ready. No sales pressure whatsoever. (I want to say that her experience had allowed her to see the end from the beginning of my case, which gave her that confident assurance that I was lacking.) Well, days later, I was calling her back kicking myself that I didn't start the process during the initial consultation. When a friend of mine looked at the lawyers retained for my case, he told me that I managed to get a serious lawyer. Attorney Rioles had to deal with my incessant texts/emails throughout the process when each time I was thinking that the sky was falling. Many of her responses were answers that I realized later that she already had provided to me, but being in a mentality stressful situation, I was forgetting and misunderstanding them. She had no problem clarifying each and every time (And I had no problem apologizing each and every time). I don't think I have apologized enough, though. I think she treated me better than what my behavior had earned. The law office's online platform made it super easy and convenient for me to send over any necessary documents. The court appearances were nerve-racking but Attorney Rioles made things go smoothly for me. She passed certain legal motions that I didn't even know could be done but were perfectly in line with what I was looking to get accomplished (In court, it seemed like the couple of lawyers I heard conversing, felt that Attorney Rioles was not one they would want to challenge.) I was fortunate to have had her in my corner through it all. I felt that she went above and beyond several times (and even now weeks after the close of the case helping me tie up some loose ends). Before Attorney Rioles, I had never known a lawyer to be of a type to treat a person with a bit of sympathy and, well, like a person. I truly cannot express how satisfied I am. I was searching high and low to find an Attorney to deal with a family matter on my behalf. I was hopeless and I needed someone to fight for me because I had no fight left to deal with the ongoing issue. Brenda was exceptional, she was patient with me, answered many questions, reassured me when I was losing hope and most importantly fought confidently for me. I even got more than I expected and left court with two orders in my favor. I can't thank her enough for helping me through one of the roughest periods of my life. She cares and fights for her clients.
Best Attorney in R.I. Brenda is the most amazing, caring, knowledgeable, and hard working attorney. She helped finalize a very contested divorce after two other attorneys could not. Every email was answered almost immediately. She definitely went above and beyond in helping me. I would not have had the outcome I did if not for her. Her assistant Olivia was so caring, detail oriented, and walked me through every step of any documents I need to prepare. I never had an issue making an appointment or communicating with either Brenda or Olivia. I cannot recommend her enough. She truly in the best in R.I.!
Brenda helped me with 2 separate cases, a child support case that then followed with a custody case. Thanks to Brenda’s knowledge, I was well informed of the process and there were no surprises. Brenda was so amazing overall; so dedicated, intuitive and she truly had my sons best interest at heart. Through the process I emailed very often with questions and evidence to help my case. In my opinion, it was an overwhelming amount of evidence I presented her with, but she graciously combed through every email and reminded me that she preferred me to keep her informed. When my husband or I reached out to her office for questions, her Paralegal Olivia was always very pleasant and communicated any concerns to Brenda while she was at court and could not reply at that instant. Brenda called and emailed me back promptly whenever I reached out with questions/concerns. I really appreciate that Brenda is also very knowledgeable, she never led me to unrealistic expectations and always tried to prepare me for the next stage in the process. And in the courtroom, Brenda is a SHARK! My husband and I were very impressed on how she represented my case, she is assertive and so professional all at once. Our case was finalized yesterday and we are very happy with the outcome, it is fair, reasonable and I feel that my sons thoughts and feelings were validated. I couldn’t recommend Brenda more!!! She is definitely someone you want to represent you, she truly has your back and best interest at heart.
