Strongly recommend coming to eat here! We celebrated our Honeymoon at The Broadmoor and this was our favorite restaurant that we ate at. Our server Megan was so sweet and knowledgeable, she gave great recommendations for our meal from start to finish. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

Del lago is in the famous Broadmoor hotel at the base of the mountains in Colorado Springs. If im going to go there i always eat at tistorante del lago if I want true northern Italian fare; if I can get in. The kids are happy because they can get pizza but its the "grown up" Italian pasta, seafood and meatballs that are what make it special. The ambiance is unbeatable. I only gave 4 stars because my swordfish came out "dry" but once I dipped it in my wife's shrimp pasta sauce it was delectable. I highly recommend the meatballs, any pasta dish of your taste, especially any shrimp pasta. The bread that came out before the meal was served with some of the best olive oil I've had in the US. It took two hands to pull it apart.

Stopped here on a lark without a reservation and everything because that’s how we roll. In this case, there should be more than five stars allowed for Service. Our server, Brian, was so extra. Everything was flawless beyond description. We came here at 4 o’clock, but had to wait until five for the dinner entrées we wanted. Plan B was a glass of wine and some cheese /marcona almonds appetizers to kill 45 minutes.Omg. Do this on purpose next time? Ask for Brian and drink whatever he pours. He has the absolute best recommendations. For dinner, I had the Delicata squash ravioli. Hubs had the carbonara pasta and we argued over who won. We were waaaaaaaay too full for dessert, but left Fat and happy. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful night celebrating our anniversary. They were very accommodating and friendly. We got the chef's selection family style which included multiple courses. They spaced the course evenly and we didn't feel rushed at all. We can't wait to go back and try out more things on the menu.

Whether you come for breakfast or dinner, you will have a great experience. I have had their buffet breakfast and a la carte as well and I have been very happy with both, the options available at the buffet breakfast are endless, make sure to come with a big appetite! I have been here various nights for dinner, and it has never disappointed. The food is fresh and flavourful! If you sit at the patio or near the windows, you will have a beautiful view for breakfast or early evenings. The service is amazing, similar service you get through out the Broadmoor!
