As executor of my mothers estate in Sheffield, Alabama, one of my first actions was to come up with values of some fine 18th century furniture, art and other items which she had inherited from her parents and grandparents from France. Obviously, I had absolutely no idea nor where to start. The wife of a best friend of mine suggested I contact Ken. The online sites I checked on, wanted me to measure, photograph and describe these pieces. I wanted someone with knowledge to come place their eyes on them. Although Ken was an hour away, he agreed to come. He made several trips, took pictures and did research, and valued them. Very time consuming for him and very fair on his compensation. Needless to say, I couldn't have managed this without Ken's help. He is very knowledgeable, professional and overall great guy .... he provided me with ideas and suggestion as how to best dispose of these items .... which gave me tremendous insight on how to get started. Also, if you haven't been in his fabulous store, you should do yourself a favor and go. It is magnificent to say the least. I will forever be indebted to him for agreeing to help me. Five stars for sure.

Rivenbark and Roper has some of the most beautiful furniture you will ever find. The quality is impeccable and prices are quite reasonable. With new furniture taking so long to come in and quality not always being up to par, antiques are not only a beautiful choice but a logical one when it comes to choosing furniture that is unique and will last. So thankful Rivenbark is in Huntsville.

Absolutely, one of the best high-end antique shops in Alabama. You'll never meet a more warm and inviting environment than right here. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for your satisfaction. The owner, Ken, is one of the most knowledgeable and kind persons that I have met in the industry. If you are in, or near Huntsville, then his shop is a must see. The antiques are exquisite and I can honestly say that I have furnished at least a third of my home with his items.

I had the pleasure of stumbling across this beautiful jewel of a store today! I had such a great experience. Their antiques/inventory are incredibly stunning and breathtaking! The owner and staff are super friendly, and their dog Mavis is just the cherry on top! I purchased a gorgeous necklace, I did not even make it out of the store before putting it on. Please do yourself a favor - go check them out!
