As we continued our journey through the area over an extra-long holiday weekend, we came across this spot and were truly impressed. On an unseasonably cold Sunday afternoon, we had the place to ourselves, which made the experience feel especially personal and memorable. Debbie, the owner, was incredibly friendly and engaging, taking time to connect with us and chat about our travels. The space inside is bright, warm, and welcoming, and sitting there watching the snow fall onto the vineyards outside was a really special moment. As one of the newer wineries in the region, this is absolutely a place worth seeking out. Even more so, it’s wonderful to support a husband-and-wife venture that’s clearly putting so much care into both their wines and their guests. Thoughtfully crafted pours, genuine hospitality, and a stop we’d highly encourage others to make.

The owners are very friendly. They love dogs! Very relaxing setting. I enjoyed the sweet wines because I am a sweet wine drinker. Favorite was the River Breeze.

Very small and quaint. A very nice place to sit and have a glass or bottle and talk. Dogs are welcome and so are kids. You can bring in your own food and have a little spread if you want. The owners are really really nice and they have a decent amount of wines of which they are really knowledgeable. I LOVE the deep bottom riverport. It's amazing. I've been twice and would not hesitate to go again

Nice little new winery. Service was great. Owner was wonderful. Wines were surprisingly good. You never know with new small wineries. They have a great Chardonnel & Cab Franc. Our favorites. Weather was amazing, so we sat out in the patio which was very nice. If it was cooler, the inside has some great seating. Definitely recommend.

Newer Virginia winery, small & still working on their wine. As of today (3/29/25) they’ve been open for 18 months and working on their recipes for 7 years. Lots of sweet wines. Reds need to age more. Loved the full menu tasting. Great place to sit, enjoy the weather and relax. I look forward to seeing how your wine skills mature.
