I’m not exaggerating when I say that was the best massage of my life! Matt rearranged my whole body in the best way! I have tried other chains, private offices and even other Thai places, and no offense to them, but this was so much better. There’s one problem spot I have that I always ask about and no one has gotten to it, so I stopped asking. Matt found it without me asking and worked out the knot immediately. He wasn’t too heavy when walking on me, he continually checked in and I honestly feel brand new. The location was clean and well-decorated, Ploy at the front was nice and sweet & efficient, and at the end, there was hot tea and water and chocolate waiting for me. This is my new place, and Matt is my new masseuse!
A very lovely place and everyone is so nice. Harry was my therapist and he did a good job. The only things I would say is the room was cold and when I turned on my back I realized the fan was on so he turned it off for me. When he first started off very good but it’s like at most parts of my body he spent way too much time like very repetitive if that makes sense. I counted like 20 times doing the same thing at each sections of my body so I didn’t like that because it took up time he could have used on my feet. I was still relaxed but wish he would've listened to my wants more. For example, I told him I wanted to focus a lot on my feet and Achilles tendon neck shoulders and left arm. He did the neck and shoulders pretty good, but he didn’t spend much time on my arms like I would’ve liked or my feet. The hot stones were great and at the very end I asked him to use the hot stones on the pressure points of my neck and shoulder areas to go into the muscle deeper, but he said let me put a hot pad that’s better for you. Well, that’s not want I asked for and I didn’t like that. Overall, I Gave him a good tip because I liked his energy and he was friendly. I will be back and they have like 7-9 oversized beds to accommodate If you’re having a girlfriends day out massage, couple massage, etc.
Not an Authentic Thai massage IMO. I chose the combination Thai massage which included: deep tissue, hot stone, and stretching & walking. It was just brute force though, lack of skill. More of a frustrating than relaxing. We chose bc it was one of the few Thai Massage spots that offer a champagne package. The Google QR was presented to us at least 5 times and asked us to show them our review in exchange for a free gift. It was bath salt. My friends and I were in pain for days after the massage. Not our usual massage experience. Won’t be back.
Tried out River Oaks Thai Massage for the first time and let’s just say, IT WILL NOT be my last. Welcoming environment, AMAZING Thai combination service. Constantly checked on for pressure being okay and just being okay overall. Ended the massage with a cute ‘charcuterie’ (more like Bento Box style) board of treats (pistachios, almonds, cashews, grapes and pepperoni). Was also given chocolate and wine with water! This place is as amazing as everyone else says it is!
Absolutely, yes! What was amazing was when my masseuse, Kat, walked in, she simply placed her forearm on my back whilst going over the massage preferences. It was an incredible first touch; I was immediately relaxed! I knew I was in great hands...literally. The Thai Combination massage for one hour was just what I needed. From her walking techniques to loosening tights spots to deep stretches, Kat worked her magic with expertise. The room itself was conducive to the experience: big, comfy beds. The space where you put your head in (face-down) was designed very comfortably. The white noise from the air conditioning worked wonderfully for me. The pricing is reasonable and provides value-for-money. Parking space may be limited if there are too many people in the area. You are required to fill a form. Plan to arrive little early, just in case. I will be coming here again.
