I was nervous to start because I had zero dance experience and didn't know anyone, but the instructors Rhi and Mariano made it so easy and relaxed. They explain everything step-by-step and keep the class fun. I’ve learnt salsa and bachata quicker than I expected and the confidence boost is real. It's also a great way to meet people and they have regular events too for members which is really good especially if you have a busy life! Rhi & Mariano put a lot of effort into organising everything including even making sure all classes have even partners. It is a very community based environment. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The classes are so fun, creative and are great stress-relieving for everyone. It’s a great place to meet new friends, brush up on social skills and get your groove. I felt very engaged, included in a great group of people, and so excited for the lessons very week! There are plenty of free practice sessions with the classes, and parties every course to boost! Rhi & Mariano are such wholesome and amazing teachers, friends and your support throughout the classes. They really encourage everyone to grow, to practice and improve yourself and to keep going. You’re never bored a single moment in classes, always laughing and dancing ♥️♥️

My fiance and I joined the Bachata Grade 1 class as a fun thing to do together throughout winter, and absolutely loved it! We have signed up to Salsa 1 and 2 since as it's a highlight of our week. Rhi and Mariano have paced the courses so well that you learn the basics and then build up to more technical steps and a great pace. The social events as well are a lot of fun and a great way to meet people and practise. Can't wait for the next term to start in 2026!

R&M salsa and bachata Sydney is in all honesty a great dance company. The teachers are so relaxed, inviting and supportive! Learning bachata has been nerve wrecking and fun! But I’m going into level 3 now and now I can tick this off my new year resolution! If you’re looking for something to spice up your leisure lifestyle, I HIGHLY recommend you join these classes. (If this hasn’t convinced you yet, here’s a snippet into class :)

Salsa Grade 1 was such a fantastic experience! As a complete beginner, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Rhi&Mariano made everything feel approachable, fun, and full of positive energy. The lessons are really well structured, each week built smoothly on the last. Rhi&Mariano are patient, encouraging, and great at breaking things down so everyone can follow at their own pace. Atmosphere is friendly, supportive, full of laughter, and never intimidating. 💃🏻🕺🏼
