My son got his permit March 2025 when he was 17. He was so scared to drive. Every time he got into our truck or bigger suv, he would freak out. He inherited his dad's smaller car. Once he drove that he felt a little bit better, but refused to drive in high traffic areas. Finally, signed him up with Roger's in November. 3 - hour and a half lessons in their smaller car made him super confident. His instructor picked him up from our house, drove him around locally (Freedom, New Sewickley Twp, and Cranberry Twp), and then dropped him back off at our house. Nick, his instructor, was absolutely amazing. He explained everything very clearly and understandable. My son said "if it wasn't for Nick, he wouldn't have passed." After those 3 classes, Nick was very confident that my son was ready. Scheduled for the test prep at the McKnight location. Nick took him through the test course multiple times for an hour and a half. Luckily, we were able to schedule for the test about 45 minutes after the test prep ended. As I stayed inside and paced back and forth, nervous for "my baby", he was back within 15 minutes and passed his test! Thank you Nick and the whole Roger's team for helping him. He is now a super confident, safe driver to begin his adult life!!
Overall, our experience with Rogers Driving School was excellent! We could not be happier. Barry is a genuine, caring, and patient teacher and helped our son to develop skills and most importantly, confidence, behind the wheel during the lessons. The testing process was efficient and easy (much easier than going to the DMV). It is worth the time and money. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience with Rogers Driving School. Bob, our instructor, was extremely professional, patient, and kind. My son said Bob was very nice and that Bob gave him lots of helpful tips that really boosted his confidence behind the wheel. Bob picked up our kid at home because we are fairly close. I was honestly dreading the idea of teaching my own kid how to drive, so I was very relieved and grateful to have their team guide him through the process. The vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and a great size for new drivers. They also take care of all the hassle with applying for the picture ID card, you just show up to get your photo taken at the drivers license place, which made everything so much easier. They have their testing procedures and their own route so you don’t even have to go to the Drivers license place. Scheduling was simple and convenient via phone or text message. Bob gave my son a map with the testing route so we could practice on our own time, and he showed him how to parallel park. He nailed it each time. He covered everything with our son including safety which we loved… On test day, Bill and Bob played a recording that clearly explained the testing procedures, in addition to personally walking him through what to expect. That extra step really helped calm his nerves. Everyone we dealt with was professional, organized, and supportive from start to finish. Thank you Bob for everything — we truly appreciate all the guidance and care you gave our son!
Had my daughter take classes and her driver's exam with Rogers. Bob was the instructor and my daughter had a lot of great things to say about him. The most important aspect was how my daughter became much more comfortable driving as the classes progressed. By the time she took her exam she was confident and at ease while driving. Finally, everything was easy. The instructor would pick my daughter up at the house for the lesson and return her when concluded. Combine this with the convenience of taking the test and increase in driving skills and confidence and I'm very happy with the product Rogers provided!
My daughter recently did the six-hour package plus test at Rogers. Because of her sports schedule, we really had to finagle to get the Training dates in so we could get her tested as soon as possible. The office staff was great to work with and very helpful and understanding of her schedule. Because we had to switch training dates, she ended up with three different teachers, and they were all great. George, Irene, and Bob are all great instructors and worked well with her. She passed her test on her first try, and we couldn’t be prouder.
