Hector Carrion —- what a professional! He rang the doorbell and didn’t hover there. He stepped off the porch and waited for me, explained what he would be treating, and we even joked a little. Great guy! Oh … and a great smile. Perfect rep for Romney Pest Control.

Romney Pest Control does very well in controlling the spiders and ants in our house. My only reason for the four star rating is that we really need a 30 minute heads up notification to get dogs out of the house. I texted this morning to request that but did not receive a response before he showed up to spray. I will just need to call the office and have that note put on our account. Otherwise, all good.

Bobby called ahead to let us know he was in transit to perform our free termite inspection. He arrived on time and thoroughly explained the termite inspection process and answered all of our questions. I was impressed with his professionalism and his knowledge of the termite and the damage they could cause. I felt very comfortable with his inspection findings and recommendations. I appreciated he never tried to up-sell any services but let me decide what worked best for me. We purchased the 1 year Termite Protection Plan. We will definitely refer Romney Pest Control to our family members and friends. EXCELLENT STAFF AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THANK YOU!!

I will say there are one or two technicians here that are stellar but they are like rare gems. Most give the lowest effort possible. I would constantly need to be calling back to tell them about ants, earwigs and beetles over and over again. And then should you be unlucky enough to get them, some technicians are downright horrendous. One guy walked into my living room and sprayed all over my furniture and the kids toys and the electronics not just down low by the baseboards where I might think it was a mistake he actually sprayed all over the speakers and game systems, on the couch cushions and throw pillows and into (not around, INTO) the bins of toys. I tried to stop him but he ignored me until I said it three times and then he argued with me about it yelling that he didn’t know what I wanted if he couldn’t spray where he wanted. I had to ask him to leave because I didn’t feel safe. I tried telling Romney I never wanted him to return, yet today he called to say he was my technician and was on his way over. When I said thank you but I don't need you to come to my house today he got very angry and told me he was coming anyway because it was on the schedule. I kept saying no thank you and he finally relented but I was shaking in fear by the end. Im a stay at home mom and could only think of what might have happened if he had showed up at my doorstep. Proceed with caution if you still want to try this company.

Not impressed with the service . I called to receive services for signs of mouse activity . The technician showed up and started to spray around the outside of my home as well as inside my home . Stated he placed bait boxes outside . He asked where I have noticed the mice activity and I showed him to my kitchen area . He glanced and felt under my sink cabinets and felt a gap stating , yeah this is most likely where they are getting in . Explained he could place poison bait but if it dies in the walls the smell would be bad and offered an odor eliminating bag . Stated “Okay well that’s it , you should be good .” I was taken back and felt confused … Long story short , I had to basically force him to move a few appliances to look behind where I had heard and suspected activity to look for entry points because I was terrified to do it myself and the reason why I hired a professional company !! We found a big hole in a cabinet next to my stove and mouse droppings . He told me “Yeah you are gonna have to make sure to seal that and the gap under the cabinets and that should help !” Needless to say he left and me ( a scared , single mother ) to end up attempting to patch and seal up those areas around a gas line mind you ! I literally was told they would patch up entry points unless it was something massive and none of that was done ! Hiring this company was a waste of time and money !! I feel I should’ve just hired a handy man to do the job. I do not recommend!
