Horrible service.. food was good but my entire party waited 2 hours to get their meals! One didn’t even get to eat bc her order was late and wrong TWICE. Server kept saying “I know” when we advised we were still waiting on meals and drinks (half of the drinks on the menu were unavailable) Never did we get asked “how’s everything?” Truly unfortunate. Apart from it being an automatic tip due to large party- my card was ran twice for different amounts .. also GUAC was brown!!
My first restaurant in St.Louis because I’m attending SC The service is super Everything comes in a super large portion Beer is ok Food is ok Waiter bar tender super handsome !
I really enjoyed the food. The chips are delicate and crunchy with great flavor. The fish tacos were some of the best I've ever had.
Authentic Mexican experience courtyard or indoor dining. This review covers two meal events and each experience is so much different than the other! Night 1, started with a basket of light tortilla chips and Rosalita’s salsa with a 20oz Gold Margarita and a waitress with a smile and southern hospitality. For dinner, I had the pan-seared grouper with butternut squash and zucchini, Rosalita’s sweet habanero sauce on the side, and she substituted their coconut cilantro rice for butternut hash! Woweee-full of so many flavors and absolutely most colorful presentation. The entire meal was excellent! And…for desert-I had their take on Fried Ice cream! This is the only part of the meal that disappoints. I’ll give it a second chance tomorrow night. I’m in the Hilton down the street so tomorrow night I plan to have the Chili Rellanos. I’m be back Saturday night for the Chili Rellanos! Second night…the Chili Rellanos didn’t have the flavor I expected. They too had that out-of-season “off” flavor. I only made it half way through one of the two grilled peppers stuffed with cheese and fried in a light batter. The refried beans were tasty. After ordering the Ice Cream twice now, I have concluded that the Ice Cream desert wasn’t fried at all. It’s done like I do at home, only they haven’t followed the somewhat labor intensive recipe. The cornflakes weren’t ground with nuts and fried until crispy in a skillet before rolling the frozen ice cream/cool whip balls in the mixture. I’m not even sure if the cinnamon and cool whip was folded into the ice cream or not. It appears to just be a ball of ice cream, simply rolled in terribly stale and tough Corn flakes, placed in a sugar cone bowl and served. It was surprisingly bad enough that I tried it twice with the same stale flavor of corn flakes both times. I would remove this dish from the menu OR simply go the distance and do the recipe justice for the $8 ball of ice cream rolled in flakes. I have never used the word choices similar to “terrible, stale, remove it from the menu” before in any of my reviews. These are just my opinions and are not intended to be hurtful or otherwise harmful. Tomorrow night, I plan to try the Steak Diablo.
The atmosphere was nice. The staff were all positive. It took a long time to get drinks chips and salsa even though they were pretty slow. When the chips and salsa did come it was excellent. Not chunky. We had a black cherry margarita which was very strong! Not in a bad way if you like them like that. Then we had the chile relleno which was the best I’ve had in a long time. So while service was a little slow at first we started getting food faster until our last dish. The fajitas we got were good but the bacon was not cooked all the way. So all in all it was okay. The bar was beautiful and the atmosphere was awesome.
