A small group of friends and I went in (4 of us, all 21+) on a late weekday night (around 12 am) and we got asked for our IDs REPEATEDLY from security and it was super annoying. We spent $100+ and were harassed the entire time, eventhough we showed we were 21+ with our IDs multiple times. Is this really how you treat your customers, just because we are on the younger side? The games are so much more expensive than they’re worth anyways. At this point, I’d rather make the drive to Dave & Busters because their value is so much better and so is their customer service and bar.
Fun place, worst customer service I've ever experienced. I get it, younger employees and it's very basic job. However we arrived at 12:01 (that's the time on our receipt) and had to pay more for the after-noon bowling rate. I didn't find it worthwhile telling the checkout lady we began talking to her at 11:59, it seemed pointless. But it was just weird and didn't seem normal. Then when I tried to get a refill, I stood in front of the gentleman at the food counter awkwardly for about 4 minutes, I'm the only one standing there, as he purposely avoids eye contact with me. I finally spoke up and said I just needed a refill and he brushed me off by saying he had to get "all these food orders out first". Again, very weird. I had to go walk around the facility to find another employee to go get me a refill. It took about 8 seconds to refill my soda. I counted. Took me about 8-10 minutes just got get a soda. It seems like the employees here just don't care about anything, including customers. But, it's a fun place for the kids. Once you don't have to deal with their employees. Btw, ice cream is $1. Bowling and ice cream is a great deal!
The food was meh, but not worth the cost. Everything is very overpriced. When youre in one of the karaoke rooms, you have to go across the entire arcade for anything. The bartender didnt know how to make an old fashioned, or even what bitters are. They also closed the bar at like 7 pm even though theyre open much later. Our food came still frozen solid. The karaoke rooms were fun but you have no control over the volume and they dont actually charge any of the equipment. I just felt like it was a very expensive let down. The employees were very nice, but it seems like there is a breakdown when it comes to making sure they are set up for success and that falls squarely on management.
I took the girls out for a much-needed afternoon of fun and we had an absolute blast! I've visited a branch of this establishment before, and it never disappoints. Just a friendly heads-up: it is a bit on the pricey side, so you'll want to budget accordingly. However, they have a fantastic selection of Japanese-style crane machines that are incredibly addictive and can easily keep you entertained for hours. I absolutely love this place! It was a total success—we even managed to go home with a massive haul of prizes! 🎁
The .99 ice cream cone got us! We went on a weekday and it was slow. They had 1 young girl working what seemed like the register AND the kitchen. She was busy and was SO slow. No acknowledgment whatsoever. I’m not mad at her for the business being understaffed. I waited patiently for about 20 min. I then asked if someone could help her since all we wanted was a couple ice cream cones. There were many other employees there (different departments maybe) a manager/supervisor then came out and helped us with those cones. He was nice and fast. I don’t think anyone should have to wait so long for something so simple and I don’t think 1 person should work both positions but maybe we came on a bad day. The ice cream was good though.
