Thank you for taking such good care of my baby Willow, special shout out to Mazz for taking the time to make sure not only that, my cat was as comfortable as possible and more importantly SAFE, and to everyone on the team working hard to contact animal welfare on behalf of my pet, who was having an adverse reaction to the medication that she was given for spay and neuter, they were trying to figure out exactly what was given so they could see if the medication was reversible(it wasnt) but they they made sure to reach out and ensure that sedation would be covered because it was directly related to her surgery and her being able to open her incision while she is out of her mind, on pain meds, and has no cone on. She wouldn't let anyone look at the incision so they couldn't tell if it had opened during her struggle with her "surgery suit", cone and me until she was sedated. I don't know what I would have done without this clinic. Everyone was very kind not only to our pets but to everyone who was going through this with their pets worried scared, everyone that I spoke to kept my mind at ease and kept me informed. Nobody wants to find themselves at an emergency vet , but if you ever have to I highly recommend Route 66, I know that they went above and beyond for my cat. Id also like to note that Jo who answered my phone call last night was also really, wonderful helping keep pet parents calm and collecting information over the phone about whats happening, I was an absolute mess and not only was she able to understand me, but I genuinely felt calmer just after getting off the phone with her and knowing that I could take my cat in and she would be helped. Thank you to everyone that helped and cared for my cat during her stay. There are so many wonderful and compassionate individuals working here. I don't think I've ever been to a veterinarian's office where everybody is so on top of things and competent, I felt very safe leaving my cat here and I will forever be grateful to you all.

I want to thank the amazing team, not having to wait and my baby girl Gypsy getting the care she needed, she will be hospitalized for a couple days, I am super grateful for this team. Dr Calo was super kind and understanding. The technicians were extremely wonderful, patient and kind. The prices were not out rages for being emergency clinic. I just want to give a huge shout out to this amazing team. Trust them and bring your babies here when you need. Thank you guys for your care!!

I had to make the unfortunate decision to put my sweet kitty to rest after 11.5 years. He had cancer. First of all I'd like to say that owning a pet is a luxury and emergency care is ,yes, expensive. The cost of the drugs used, tools, equipment, oxygen, xrays, bloodwork, and cremation services aren't free. The amount of training and degrees that the Dr's and techs have are also not FREE. RT 66 is not in it for the money. I saw and felt real compassion and empathy, during this difficult time and every time I've been there. I've been there several times and will ALWAYS use them as my emergency hospital, when needed. Unfortunately, Pet care insurance will never be up to par with human care. So stop comparing it. These negative reviews are utter nonsense. I will say, to cremate or bury a human is much more costly. So are diagnostics, there's just no real insurance in the "pet world" like the human world. Most of this is covered in the human world if you have insurance and most of this can be reimbursed in the pet world if you have insurance. If you can't afford to take care of a pet in need then maybe you shouldn't own one. If you don't have a primary veterinarian then get one. It's way less expensive at a primary veterinarian to take care of common illnesses and if they aren't open be prepared in case of emergency. A Pic of my foster failure when he was young.

The compassion and care the team showed meant the world to me. I trust these people completely because of how lovingly they treated my baby. You can truly tell they are not in this for the money — they genuinely care about every pet and family that walks through their doors. Thank you for everything you did for my sweet boy. ❤️
