I never leave 5 stars for any company and surely ones that do not deserve the recognition. However, Royal Hawaiian Movers were absolutely remarkable for me. Working with Vy & his guys who picked up my household goods were super respectful and working their butts off to get the job done in order to meet MY timelines (I was closing on my house the following day so I could not have belongings in the house for the “final walk” by the buyers) while taking every precaution with my valuables even on a rainy day. They covered all of my boxed goods with tarps to ensure it was protected and get it out the house same day. After this, coordinating with Alicia D-N alleviated so much stress off my shoulders. She went above and beyond in her craft to take care of my belongings and getting reimbursements squashed before departing to my next station. All in all, I cannot thank Alicia & Vy enough for their efforts. I would recommend both of them time and time again if anyone needed assistance during hard moves. They were fantastic and thank you Alicia for making my move feel like your number 1 priority. Great company.
The best moving experience so far. The gentlemen from this company were competent, professional and courteous. They handled everything with care, even some of my more weathered possessions, and ensured that I was satisfied with every box packed before it was loaded. Our best move in my husband’s 20 year military career. We moved from Honolulu to San Diego in May of 2025, packed and loaded by Royal Hawaiian Movers. The pre-move inspection was the first indication this move was going to be done professionally. Our inspector, Andrew, was amazing and spent time walking through our home and asking questions about our high value items and anything that needed special crating. He measured a Japanese antique we own and called to follow up to ensure he had the right measurements. The crate fit perfectly on moving day and our antique arrived in San Diego in perfect condition. The packing and loading crew: Gilbert, Uncle Ruben, Elias, and Ray worked very hard! They showed up every day on time, and left at a reasonable hour each evening. They finished 2 days ahead of schedule. Their supervisor, also named Gilbert, came out and helped when needed. Really impressed with their teamwork and work ethic. There was zero damage to our rental and we got our full deposit back. The crew was very respectful while inside our home and didn’t leave a mess or trash around. We own a lot of glassware, family heirlooms, and collectibles. Everything was packed and handled with care. In the end only two things were broken, the back of our fold out couch and a glass KitchenAid mixing bowl. Everything was reimbursed through the claims process without any pushback. Overall: 15,359 lbs, 15 crates + 1 custom crate for our foam mattress. Everything was packed and loaded in 2 days. It took 30 days to get to San Diego. I recommend Royal Hawaiian Movers.
I’m writing to share very positive feedback on my household goods delivery (GBL: BGAC0691051) completed on 31-Oct-2025. The delivery team’s attention to detail, understanding, and work ethic were exceptional from start to finish, and they truly set the tone for a smooth transition to Hawaii for me and my family. Highlights: • Attention to detail: Inventory was checked meticulously, boxes were labeled and placed in the correct rooms, and furniture was reassembled precisely without missing hardware. They protected floors, doorways, and walls and double-checked each item’s condition before departing. • Professional understanding: The crew listened carefully to our preferences, offered practical suggestions for room layout, and adapted to the unique constraints of island housing and access without a single complaint. • Work ethic & teamwork: They arrived on time, worked efficiently the entire day, communicated clearly about the plan, and handled heavy/awkward items safely and respectfully. Beyond the mechanics of the move, the team made this a genuine Hawaiian experience for us—warm, courteous, and patient—bringing that welcoming “aloha” spirit into our home. After a long PCS journey, that hospitality mattered a great deal. Please extend my sincere thanks and recognition to everyone involved. RHM provided a great pack out for when I was moving off island. I also shipped a motorcycle, but it was damaged in transit due to not being properly strapped down. Ratchet straps were tied off, and not ratcheted down. There were no ratchet straps on the handle bars and there wasn’t much material to hold it steady. The mirror was busted off, and now may have a drive train issue due to resting on the drive train cover. I took the pictures immediately after the the crate was opened. Update as of 7OCT25: Royal Hawaiian Movers have been working to resolve the problem. They have been more than helpful, and very transparent with their process. Great staff to assist, and very understanding. The customer service and professionalism is outstanding!
