With a displaced fracture I was referred to Dr Merkel. As he examined my foot all my anxieties faded away feeling more confident with my treatment. I was thrilled no surgery. Dr Merkel is the most wonderful doctor. He put me at eased the moment he came in the room with his big smile and loving care. I m so happy to have him. He has given me excellent care and I love him for it. I will highly recommend him to anyone who need his care. Thank you Dr Merkel so much for I love you ❤️

Never have same or next day appointments for sick kids past infancy. They reschedule appointments on the same day, sometimes multiple times per appointment. Rapid turnover of providers. Take your kid somewhere else if you can.

The doctors seem fine, but the office staff is prone to errors and does not deliver appropriate documentation to schools. After having issues with a daycare, pre-k, and primary school, I called to complain and was told by a nurse who acknowledged that they had failed to update the state portal, but claimed it was the school's fault. I can not trust a medical practice that points fingers and blames others for clear patterns of mistakes, and I would not bring a child to this practice. They also can not manage any sort of email communication or faxes and only work by phone, which usually involves 30-45 minutes of hold time and then someone has to call you back anyway, which makes you wonder why they can't just call you back from a submitted message/email. I really would encourage anyone looking for a pediatrician to ask yourself if you want to deal with the school sending your child home in their first week because your doctor can't get the vaccination paperwork done - can you just leave work and sort it? How do you explain the problem to your child? Is this what you want to be doing with your time?

Absolutely love the nursing staff and efficiency of this office. My children have been seen by Dr.Colpoys for 11 years and she is our favorite! Although there was not a doctor we meet here that we didn’t like. I had many appointments (just this year) which we had to cancel with short notice, and I never once got attitude from the staff or received warnings about canceling too often. When I was running late I called to ask if we could still be seen and they worked with us so that my children didn’t go without care. Their staff are wonderful, patient and compassionate.
