Wonderful working with Ruben. He suggested a great spot in DC as our engagement photo shoot backdrop. He gave good instructions, and was able to capture our love in such a beautiful, creative, fun way. It was so much fun and the photos turned out amazing. He was easy to communicate with before, during and after our photo shoot. We are looking forward to working with him again for our wedding day.

My wife and I interfaced with several photographers before choosing Ruben. Check out his website for an idea of what his work looks like. He is a press photographer as well as a wedding photographer, so this gave us confidence that he would be able to capture fleeting moments at the ceremony and reception that we have seen many other photographers miss at other weddings. Our impressions with Ruben were right on, he captured amazing moments that went by very quickly as well as spectacular wedding party shots that are not your typical staunch posed formal types (although I’m sure he would accommodate that if you want it). We met with Ruben prior to the wedding for an engagement photo shoot and it was well worth it. We all got to know each other a bit and establish a rapport and comfortableness that was really great during the wedding. He was also highly flexible with our requests and accommodating with time issues if things ran long here or there. The end product was simply amazing, the work he does truly takes talent and we are so happy with the pictures we ended up with that captured so many great moments we will cherish forever. Thank you Ruben!!

My new husband and I chose Ruben as our photographer based on the images he showed us in our first meeting. I must say that what we got was above an beyond what we expected. Not only was he (and his assistant Christine) punctual, but the were visibly happy to be there! They were both easy to work with and extremely friendly. Not only did they remember every photo we requested, but they also made suggestions to photos we should take, and those ended up being our favorite photos. Ruben even sent us a few photos 3 days after our event! We were absolutely blown away by his service and I would recommend is services to anyone I knew getting married. Thank you Ruben for an exceptional experience, you made our day!

My husband and I are so happy that we selected Ruben Photography for our engagement photo session and wedding day. Ruben and his assistant were so professional, reliable, prompt, and respectful. Ruben was our photographer for our engagement photoshoot this spring. We really wanted the popular Japanese Cherry Blossoms in our pictures. We were afraid there would be too many people and the pictures would not turn out great, but Ruben found the perfect spots and was very patient to wait for the right moments. We also took our dog with us, whom he managed to incorporate in some of the photos. Would hire him as our wedding photographer if we were getting married locally!
